During an interview on his Sirius XM show, Howard Stern joked Hugh Jackman is so handsome, he’d be willing to give him a hand and then some … saying he would go to third base for the actor.

The indecent proposal followed minutes after Howard fawning over how well Hugh has aged — and that he’s aged naturally, he pointed out.

Howard admitted to the “Wolverine” star, “At my best, I didn’t look as good as you.”

The Sherrone Moore firing just took a turn — the former Michigan Wolverines football coach was detained by cops shortly after the school announced his termination.

The rumors are running wild on social media … but as of right now, the only thing cops will say is the 39-year-old coach was located and detained by police in Saline, Michigan on Wednesday.

The university stated Moore got the boot for having an “inappropriate relationship with a staff member” … and claimed it had “credible evidence.”

“This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior,” the school added.

Moore just led the Wolverines to a 9-3 season … but the program missed out on making the College Football Playoff.

Conservative commentator Tim Pool says someone opened fire on his West Virginia home last week … but, we’ve spoken to police, and they say they can’t corroborate his story.

Here’s the deal … on Saturday, Pool wrote on X that a vehicle approached his house the previous evening and opened fire … though he adds no one was injured in the alleged shooting.

Pool said his security was looking into the incident and would relay information to the proper authorities in due course … before later posting, “My immediate thoughts is someone was trying to scare us. But we have a security gate and armed guards and its possible this deterred something more serious.”

Later on, officers say they asked Pool for video footage from the property … but, they say they’ve been denied. As a result, the “reports of shots fired at this residence cannot be substantiated at this time.”

We reached out to Pool … and, he tells us, “We were advised not to release [the footage] as it will compromise security, exposing property, personnel, and our security measures.” Tim also invited TMZ to West Virginia to view the footage.
