Kat Cammack backs ‘watchdog’ Blaise Ingoglia for CFO

The political veteran gets key backing ahead of his first statewide election.

A Republican member of Congress historically close to President Donald Trump is endorsing Blaise Ingoglia as Chief Financial Officer.

“Blaise Ingoglia is the bold, no-nonsense conservative Florida needs as CFO — fearless with the facts, relentless with the budget, and ready to torch government waste,” said U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack. “Floridians deserve a watchdog, not a wallflower, someone who’ll call out the bureaucratic nonsense and fights for every taxpayer dollar. That’s Blaise Ingoglia, and I’m fired up to stand with him.”

Ingoglia is seeking election to the office Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed him to last year. Ingoglia is a former Chair of the Republican Party of Florida who was a state Senator from Spring Hill before he was picked to replace Jimmy Patronis in 2025.

Ingoglia welcomed the endorsement from Cammack and her political action committee.

“I am honored to have the support of Rep. Kat Cammack and American Grit PAC,” Ingoglia said. “Florida has led the nation in responsible budgeting and economic growth, and as CFO, I will work every day to protect taxpayers, promote transparency, and ensure our state remains financially strong for generations to come.”

Ingoglia, who calls himself the lobbyist for the taxpayers, has made news with audits of local governments that suggest spending and taxation have escalated since the beginning of the pandemic well beyond the rate of population growth purportedly justifying it.
