Karen Read is at the center of a new documentary series offering intimate access as she and her legal team gear up for her retrial in the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe — and TMZ has your exclusive first look at Tuesday’s upcoming episode.
In Investigation Discovery’s “A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read,” Karen opens up her Mansfield, Massachusetts home to cameras and questions, insisting the allegations against her don’t add up.
Prosecutors allege in 2022, Read got into a heated drunken argument with O’Keefe before backing up and hitting him with her SUV, killing him … then fleeing the scene, leaving him to die in a friend’s snow-covered front yard.
Read has always insisted she’s innocent, and her team claims she was framed — saying John got into a fight with his fellow officers that night and they pinned his death on her.
Karen’s first trial ended in a mistrial last year … the jury voted to acquit her on second-degree murder and fleeing the scene — but deadlocked 9-3 in favor of convicting her on vehicular manslaughter.
The new docuseries dives into Karen’s upcoming April retrial, the investigation, her preparations, and the surrounding theories — featuring key figures and an inside look at her mindset during 2024’s trial. Read’s facing charges of second-degree murder, motor vehicle manslaughter while driving under the influence, and leaving the scene of a collision causing death.
There’s a lot to unpack, so the five-episode ID docuseries, which kicked off tonight, is being rolled out over three nights, all available to stream on Max.

Feds Hand Over Names of 3 Alleged Victims

Prosecutors in Diddy‘s case are revealing the names of the 3 alleged victims in his federal indictment, but only for Diddy’s attorneys to see … for now.
According to a motion filed by Diddy on March 6, the disgraced music mogul requested the names of the three anonymous accusers and witnesses listed in the government’s letter outlining the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations case against him.
The judge reviewed Diddy’s motion and ordered the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York to hand over the names to Diddy’s defense by March 10.
Diddy’s attorneys argued they needed every day possible to prepare for the trial, which is less than 2 months away now. The federal indictment refers to Victims 1, 2 and 3, but does not reveal their names.

The judge’s order says the women’s identities are being disclosed “under an Attorney’s Eyes Only designation.”
Of course, Diddy’s attorneys have already referred to Victim 1 as being Cassie. It’s clearly her because the indictment includes a reference to the infamous hotel beating video.

The defense has said it believes the 2 other alleged victims are also former girlfriends of Diddy’s … and has asserted that everything that happened between them was consensual.
There’s a gag order in the case, so the victims’ names might not be confirmed for the public until the trial begins … that is if the judge doesn’t close the courtroom when they testify.

Justin Timberlake was flying high — playing flight attendant before teeing off for some mid-air golf.
The singer gave his TikTok followers a first-class laugh on the flight to Argentina with his team onboard his private jet, kicking things off with some hilarious pre-flight announcements.
JT had everyone cracking up as he gave a crash course on using life jackets — before cheekily telling passengers to keep any pressing questions to themselves. Pretty sure that’s not in the flight attendant handbook!
He fired off more hilarious quips before turning to the Gen Z passengers onboard, assuring them of a smooth flight and declaring, “It’s finna be lit.”
Justin delivered on his promise, taking a putting a golf ball down the aisle, complete with live commentary from an actual match. And, yep, he nailed the shot!
Cue the cheers, high-fives, and all-around celebration — fun was in full swing onboard, even with one lone passenger desperately trying to catch some Z’s.
Clearly, JT proved no one can elevate a flight quite like him — but what about that snack cart, though??!
