Digital brand Skin Cupid, which claims the title as the UK and EU’s most followed K-Beauty retailer, is launching its first permanent flagship store in London’s Soho on 26 September.
The store, positioned on the corner of Charing Cross Road and Manette Street, is “set to become the largest and most premium Asian beauty destination in the UK”, featuring over 60 Korean beauty brands.
These include staples Medicube, Anua, Dr Althea, Dasique, Beauty of Joseon, and TIRTIR, while the line-up will also include exclusive brands such as Unove, Ma:nyo, S.Nature, Parnell, and Muzigae Mansion, making Skin Cupid the only physical destination in the UK to feature them, it noted.
The store’s design features a striking statement ceiling, premium finishes and details shaped in part by feedback from Skin Cupid’s social media community.
Products will be laid out “step by step” to mirror the 10-step K-Beauty routine, “giving visitors the same intuitive, educational shopping experience found in Korea’s trendsetting retail spaces”.
The central theme will be “blending beauty retail with immersive experiences”, so the flagship will also introduce Cupid World, a loyalty-members-only zone “designed to surprise and delight customers” with prize-winning games, exclusive gifts, Instagrammable installations, and curated workshops.
Here, staff “will demystify products, routines, and ingredients with the same clarity and care trusted by Skin Cupid’s digital community, giving every customer the knowledge and confidence they need to fall in love with skincare”.
