Zendaya‘s diving into the swamp … ’cause she’s just been cast in “Shrek 5,” bringing some more star power to the ogre-filled franchise.

Zendaya’s taking on the role of Shrek and Fiona’s daughter Felicia in the beloved animated series — and Universal’s already teased her appearance with a sneak peek in the cast announcement vid.

Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz are returning to their roots as Shrek and Fiona — who they’ve been playing since the first film in 2001.

And don’t forget — Eddie Murphy’s back as Donkey, ready to bring the laughs with his signature sass!

Zendaya will no doubt sprinkle some fresh green magic on the swamp, ’cause her casting will likely reel in a whole new generation of viewers to the beloved franchise.

But if you think Zendaya’s casting is random, she actually manifested back in ’17, when she posted about how she watched “Shrek” way too much as an adult!

Michelle Trachtenberg‘s cause of death will not be released … because the beloved actress’ family has turned down an autopsy, TMZ has confirmed.

According to the New York City medical examiner … Michelle’s family has asked the ME not to perform an autopsy on Michelle to determine the cause of death.

The medical examiner tells us that if there were any suspicion of criminality, then an autopsy would automatically be performed … but, since there isn’t, they won’t be doing one.

As we told you … Michelle was found unresponsive in her home by her mother, Lana, on Wednesday, February 26. Lana immediately called police and paramedics, but they pronounced Michelle dead at the scene.

Lana saw Michelle alive just hours earlier … after they parted ways around 10 PM Tuesday. Michelle hadn’t been acting like she was having any trouble with her health — she even went out with friends just a few nights before her untimely passing.

Sources told TMZ … Michelle had recently had a liver transplant mere months before her passing — it’s unclear if that played a factor in her death.

Dozens of stars shared their fondest memories of Michelle after her passing … including her “Gossip Girl” costars Blake Lively and Ed Westwick and her “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” pals Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan.

Michelle was 39.

Turns out it’s not just the Super Bowl winners visiting the White House — at least one Kansas City Chief is, too — Harrison Butker‘s currently kickin’ it with President Donald Trump!

A W.H. staffer shared a photo Thursday morning showing Trump, seated at the Resolute Desk, speaking with the 29-year-old Pro Bowl kicker in the Oval Office.

It’s unclear why Butker, who found himself at the center of a massive controversy last offseason with comments he made during a commencement address, was visiting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Back in October — less than a month before the election — Butker endorsed Trump for president, saying at the time abortion was his top issue.

“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president,” Harrison said during a FOX News appearance.

“I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize.”

Of course, Butker’s visit comes just days after erroneous reports claimed the Eagles, who just beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, decided NOT to visit the White House … which turned out to be false. Trump hadn’t even invited them yet.
