If anyone thought the reset of the JW Anderson brand might include an element of it becoming more low-key after Jonathan Anderson was appointed creative supremo at Dior, they couldn’t have been more wrong.

News around the label has come thick and fast in recent months and the latest is that John Malkovich is starring in its new campaign.
The campaign is for the Loafer Bag, the made-in-Italy bag that comes in soft suede and smooth leather with details inspired by the classic shoes, “elevated in craft yet anchored in functionality”.
The imagery also features items from the Resort Spring Summer 2026 collection, “including knitwear pieces spun from the finest yarns, Japanese-crafted denim developed with expert makers, Chelsea boots embellished with military green strass. Pieces defined by elevated materials and considered techniques”.
The label also said the campaign embodies its “ongoing dialogue of heritage and innovation, a world where fashion, objects and art converge”.
It may only be October, but the collection is already available to buy from the Soho, London store, as well as JW Anderson in Milan and at the brand’s own webstore.

The JW Anderson brand has seen a lot of change this year. As mentioned, Jonathan Anderson was appointed to the creative helm of the entire Dior brand this year. And while it was possible to continue with his own brand as a regular label — staging runway shows, for instance — when he was designing Loewe, Dior is a much bigger job.
Talk of a brand reset in the summer was confirmed early last month with JW Anderson adding in more to make it a lifestyle offer and including products from other labels. Since then we’ve heard of collaborations and pop-ups that make it clear the brand isn’t going to fade into the background. And this latest campaign is further evidence of that.
