Paris Jackson has a lot to smile about this week … because she’s hard at work on her latest album after she recently got engaged!

Paris was all smiles Monday, flashing her engagement ring outside a recording studio in L.A., grabbing a food delivery from Erewhon Market.

The tatted-up daughter of Michael Jackson was looking casual in flared jeans, a tank top and sandals. She’s been working on her music with Linda Perry, who’s producing the album.

Paris just got engaged to music producer Justin Long, who’s also in her band, in December.

Charles Dion McDowell — better known as the notorious “Wide Neck” perpetrator on the Internet — has run afoul of the law once again … and this time the charges are way more serious — he’s been accused of sending naked images to a minor … TMZ has learned.

McDowell was taken into police custody on February 19 and charged with multiple felonies, including felony transmission of video/photo of nudity without consent, as well as electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor, and making harassing phone calls, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia.

The sheriff’s office says McDowell is being held without bond … but refused to provide specifics on the alleged crimes, citing a Georgia law that prevents the release of information about child abuse.

This isn’t McDowell’s first brush with the law … he first crossed paths with the police in Lee County, Alabama after he allegedly tried to elude cops during a reckless driving incident. His congenial smile coupled with his massive neck made his mugshot go viral — and he soon became an Internet sensation.

The aviation experience just got a little scarier, if that was even possible — a major tragedy was narrowly averted this morning on a runway in Chicago.

Hold on to your seats — terrifying footage shows a Southwest Airlines jet plane aborting its landing at Midway Airport Tuesday morning, when a Challenger 350 private jet on the runway taxied into its path seconds before what would’ve been a devastating collision.

As you can see, the Southwest Airlines plane nearly touched down on the runway before its quick-thinking pilot pulled off a heroic move, yanking the plane back up into the air for an emergency go-around — just a few hundred yards away from the private jet.

The pilot’s actions straight-up saved lives, and the plane, arriving from Nebraska, later landed safe and sound … with Southwest confirming the crew followed safety protocols, and everything ended without a hitch.

The details are still murky about the Tennessee-bound private jet — whether they saw the plane coming in, and the number of people onboard. The FAA is launching an investigation into the incident.
