Washington D.C. Plane Crash Video Shows Helicopters Flying Close to Planes … Days Before Deadly Crash
Published
Tons of people are searching for a reason behind the plane crash in Washington, D.C. that has claimed dozens of lives … and, new video shows just how close helicopters fly to commercial planes.
I took this video 6 days ago leaving Reagan International Airport and thought it was kind of crazy seeing these choppers right next to us. I wonder if it was something like this that caused the collision tonight. pic.twitter.com/0I2GGTM7hS
A user on X posted a clip late Wednesday night … sharing a video he says he took six days ago — showing two helicopters flying to the left of an airplane as it takes off from a runway at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Check out the vid … there’s not a huge gap of space between the choppers and the plane — though they do seem to be a safe distance away.
Worth noting … the video’s taken during the day — but, the fatal D.C. crash happened at night, so this is much clearer visibility than pilots of the crafts would’ve had.
The social media poster openly questions whether this short distance may have actually led to the crash … but, many in the comments are shooting him down — saying this is a very normal distance for these crafts to fly from one another.
As we told you … an American Airlines jet collided with a Blackhawk helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport — and, video captured the explosion above the Potomac River.
As of this morning, 30 bodies have been recovered … and D.C. Fire and EMS Chief John Donnelly said, “We don’t believe there are any survivors.” 60 passengers and four crew members were on the commercial flight, and three military personnel were on the helicopter.
A full investigation is underway … and, distance like the one shown in this clip will almost certainly be scrutinized.
Rihanna High Fashion in High Stress … First Courtroom Sketch From Court Revealed!!!

Updated
12:30 PM PT — The first image of Rihanna in court has finally been released … and, while many fans were hoping for a photograph, right now all they’re getting is a sketch.
A courtroom artist drew Rihanna … capturing her in the white top and earrings which we previously reported she was wearing.
The court’s currently on break for lunch after a contentious morning between A$AP Relli and A$AP Rocky‘s attorney Joe Tacopina … and, the intense energy in the room shows no sign of slowing down after lunch.
Rihanna’s standing by her man in court … arriving for the fourth day of A$AP Rocky’s trial in his assault case in a fashionable outfit.
The singer-songwriter’s sitting in the gallery in between Rocky’s mother and sister … wearing a button-up white top, skinny black tie, black work pants and black point pumps — accessorizing with a pair of big gold hoop earrings.

She’s letting her hair down, parting it to the right … looking at people when they talk — no mask and no glasses on in the court. Rocky arrived at the courthouse in an all-black suit this morning … but, he and RiRi appeared to pull up separately, just like they did yesterday. They did leave together on Wednesday though.
Rihanna’s apparently famished too … snacking on some kind of bar or brownie while waiting for proceedings to kick off. Unclear if she missed breakfast to get to the trial or if she’s stress eating — but, it’s definitely no Giorgio Baldi.

We’re told Rihanna looks more relaxed today than yesterday — it’s a much smaller crowd in the courtroom today — but, she’s also all business … not cracking a smile or giggling at jokes others in the room find amusing. No photogs have been able to get RiRi on camera so far.
Of course, we told you Rihanna planned to attend the trial this week … and, pulled up yesterday too — sitting in the front row of the gallery while A$AP Relli, the man accusing Rocky of shooting him, testified.
Rocky is facing two charges of assault with an automatic firearm — and, if convicted, Rocky faces up to 24 years in prison.

Joe Tacopina — Rocky’s defense attorney — has maintained Rocky couldn’t shoot Relli … ’cause the gun he had in his hand on the night of the alleged assault was actually a prop gun.
In court Thursday, Tacopina is expected to cross-examine Relli … though the judge began the hearing by asking the cameraman to turn off the camera filming the proceedings.
Super Bowl Sunday’s shaping up to be a touchdown for Ben Affleck — ’cause looks like he’s back in the game with The DunKings!
Peep these pics of Ben in L.A. Wednesday, pulling up with a Dunkin’ “DunKings” tracksuit in hand, and later slipping it on — basically doing everything but officially confirming he’s back for another sweet campaign.
To keep the Dunkin’ love flowing, Ben had his go-to cup of the good stuff in hand — and with a sweet $10-mil paycheck last year, it’s no surprise he seems all-in for another commercial.
If you need a refresher, Ben went full Dunkin’ last year in a 30-second Super Bowl ad, working the drive-thru in the bright orange trackies with Matt Damon and Tom Brady, AKA, “The DunKings.”
Oh, and let’s not forget Ben’s then-wife, J Lo, also made a cameo in the ad. So, who knows what kind of delicious surprises are in store if he makes his Super Bowl comeback this year!
Christine Baumgartner Costner’s Ex Lands New Fiancé … No Diff to Kevin, Financially
Published |
Updated
Christine Baumgartner‘s gonna be a blushing bride again — less than a year after finalizing the bitter divorce from Kevin Costner — but her new marriage won’t impact the fat monthly payments Kevin makes.
First, the romantic side … Christine said yes to financier Josh Connor, who recently proposed on the beach in Santa Barbara. If Josh’s name sounds familiar, he’s the mutual friend of Christine and Kevin’s (not so much Kevin anymore) we first told you about when they vacationed together in Hawaii, back in 2023, shortly after the Costners separated.
Now to the cold hard cash of it all, which is that Kevin’s ex-wife finding a new husband will not save KC a dime … and that’s because he’s already done paying her spousal support. According to court docs filed during their divorce battle, Kevin forked over a $1 million lump sum to Christine, as their prenup stipulated.
However, we also broke the story … Kevin’s paying $63K a month to Christine in child support for their 3 kids. Their final divorce settlement also has them sharing custody of 17-year-old Cayden Wyatt, 15-year-old Hayes Logan and 14-year-old Grace Avery.
Child support is not impacted by either parent’s marital status, so all that stays the same.

As part of their divorce, Kevin also contributed an additional $200K toward Christine’s down payment for a new home, and agreed to pay the monthly mortgage, property tax, and insurance payments for the first year she lives there. It’s unclear if Josh will be moving into Christine’s pad, or if the happy couple’s moving into a new place together.
So, Christine’s engagement means zip to Kevin … on the financial front, anyway. On the personal side, he’s called the divorce a “crushing moment” for him — but he’s yet to say anything about her relationship with his ex-pal, Josh.
