2:23 PM PT — Just hours after a judge in Texas agreed to drastically reduce Karmelo Anthony’s bond amount, the 17-year-old is out of the local county jail.

A local reporter, Steven Dial of FOX 4 Dallas, captured the moment Anthony walked out of the facility … where he’s been since April 2.
Karmelo Anthony — the teenager charged with the murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf — had his bond drastically reduced during a court hearing Monday morning … from $1,000,000 to $250,000.
Mike Howard, Anthony’s new attorney, argued the $1 million bond was unnecessary … as his client has no history of criminal activity.
“Give this young man a chance to get out of jail and be with his family,” Howard said.
At the other table, prosecutors argued the $1 million bond should remain in place, saying it’s the standard for murder cases in Collin County (TX).
After drastically lowering the bond, Judge Angela Tucker ordered the 17-year-old wear an ankle monitor and be confined to his home, should she bail him out.
A GoFundMe was created last week to help raise money for Anthony’s legal fees … with over $414K already donated.
Anthony has been in custody since the April 2 incident, with Frisco police saying Metcalf was stabbed at the Frisco Independent School District’s Kuykendall Stadium following a dispute.
Hunter Metcalf — twin brother of Austin — told WFAA that it all stemmed from an argument over a seat.
“We asked him to move,” Hunter explained. “He started getting aggressive and talking reckless. And my brother stepped in and said, ‘You need to move.’ And he’s like, ‘Make me move.’ All the sudden, he grabbed his backpack.”
Andrew Anthony — Karmelo’s father — told the New York Post that his son was not the aggressor in the ordeal … and that Metcalf and his friends were the ones who escalated the situation.
“Everyone has already made their assumptions about my son,” Karmelo’s father said. “But he’s not what they’re making him out to be.”
Anthony is still currently behind bars … but with the reduction in his bail, it likely won’t be too long until he’s back home.

If the Titans are looking for some last-minute draft advice, they can get plenty from a familiar face — Jeff Fisher!!
The former Tennessee head coach sat down with TMZ Sports as the Titans prepare to make the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday’s annual NFL selection party … and he issued a few warnings to his old team.
First and foremost, Fisher said if Brian Callahan and Co. have a quarterback they love … he said they shouldn’t overthink it — and race to the podium to select the signal-caller.
But, he also cautioned his former squad to “be careful about convincing yourself that you really, really like this player at that pick.”
“You’ve got to be careful about getting too much information,” said Fisher, who coached the Titans’ franchise for nearly two decades, “and falling in love with somebody that’s not the answer to your problems.”
He went on to say trading down would absolutely not be the worst thing — explaining, “You can turn the corner real quickly by acquiring high picks over the next couple years.”
The Titans are widely expected to stay with their pick … and former Univ. of Miami QB Cam Ward seems to be their choice. Colorado ATH Travis Hunter and Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter will no doubt receive consideration too.
They’ll officially make their selection in Green Bay shortly after 5 PM … and it’s safe to say everyone in the NFL world — including Fisher — will be glued to the TV when Roger Goodell reads their pick.
