Gypsy Rose Blanchard is weighing in on Casey Anthony’s new self-anointed legal advocacy gig — and it’s a take worth considering, given that she, too, knows the ins and outs of the justice system firsthand.
We caught up with GRB Wednesday night in L.A., and she didn’t hold back, saying Casey — who stood trial in 2011 for the murder of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, before being found not guilty — has no business charging people for legal advice.
The Casey backlash has been brewing ever since the acquitted Florida woman dropped a video earlier this week detailing her so-called advocacy plans via Substack, explaining she’s turning a curse into a blessing after being thrust into the national spotlight for so many years.
As for GRB — she served 7 years of a 10-year prison sentence for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee, at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.
Of course, neither case is exactly a gold standard for crime and justice — but while Gypsy isn’t out here charging for legal advice, she has been using her platform to push for prison reform.
Gypsy even met with Kim Kardashian to talk all things prison reform — she tells us though they haven’t spoken since, it was great to talk to her!

Up in Flames While Setting Car on Fire

An arson suspect in California is probably nursing some painful burns … ’cause cops say he accidentally lit himself on fire while trying to blow up a car — and, they’ve got video of the incident.
Surveillance video from early Tuesday morning obtained by ABC7 Los Angeles shows a car burst into flames in Corona, CA … before a man appears from behind the car with what looks like one of his shoulders on fire.
The man hops a fence and takes off down the street … all while still engulfed in flames.
Investigators say the suspect, a man in his 30s, got into a pickup truck nearby and fled the scene. Authorities say the fire destroyed the car and caused some damage to the house as well. They’re still searching for the man in the video.
As you know … many Southern California residents have been on high fire alert since devastating wildfires ravaged the L.A. area in January.
Angelenos were even confronting suspected arsonists at the time … and, at least one person was arrested for allegedly starting a brushfire in Azusa.
We’ve reached out to cops about this most recent fire … so far, no word back.

Naked Woman Removed From Flight, On Video

Passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight were confronted by an unexpected sight Monday … a woman took her clothes off inside the plane and walked up and down the aisle.
Video from a flight at the gate of Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport is circulating online … the woman appears to be yelling, as shocked fellow passengers try to comprehend what’s happening.
A rep for the Houston Police Department says … officers were called to the gate for a person in crisis — finding the woman who had ripped her clothes off and caused a disturbance.
Police took her into custody and transported her to a hospital for medical evaluation … but, we’re told no one was injured on the flight, which was headed to Phoenix, and the woman hasn’t been arrested or charged at this time.
The police rep tells us Southwest can file a complaint if the company wants to press charges … so, ultimately it’s up to them.
We’ve reached out to Southwest Airlines about the incident … so far, no word back.
This follows a spike in troubling air-travel incidents in recent weeks — including the fatal mid-air collision between an Army helicopter and an American flight in D.C. in January, a Delta flight flipping upside down upon landing in Toronto, and several near-misses at various airports across the U.S. So it’s understandable why some people may be experiencing extra stress when flying these days.

Jordyn Woods is heartbroken after losing a close friend to cancer … saying the tragedy is a reminder that “Life isn’t always fair.”
The model shared the sad news on Thursday with an emotional tribute.
“I had to bury one of the closest people to me yesterday after she lost her battle to breast cancer,” Woods said.
“Life isn’t always fair.”
She expressed gratitude for the prayers and well wishes she’s received … as many were concerned following a previous message she posted earlier this week.
ICYMI, Woods said “F*** Cancer” on Tuesday … leading to speculation about what sparked the two-word statement.
Some thought she might have been referring to her father, who passed away from cancer when she was 19.
Others also thought it could have been about her New York Knicks star boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns … who left the team for “personal reasons” the same day of her message.

Woods has since clarified the meaning behind her message … and KAT will play in Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
