“Grey’s Anatomy” star Steven W. Bailey is done hiding his rare genetic disorder, which sometimes requires him to use a wheelchair … and he hopes his bravery doesn’t cost him his career.
The actor opened up in a lengthy X thread over the weekend, revealing he’s been battling Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome for over five years.
He wrote, “CMS is a genetic disease that disrupts the communication between the brain and the muscle at the ‘nerve/muscle junction.’ … My muscles aren’t clearly receiving all my brain’s orders to do all the swell things muscles are meant to do. It’s a drag.”
Bailey explained he kept the diagnosis a secret “out of career caution” but assured Hollywood he can still do most of the things he used to, as his wheelchair use is ambulatory.
He said, “Much like walking my dog around the block, or helping at the store, I can still perform on my feet, limitedly. I can ambulate my way through simple ‘walks and talks’ with no problem. I can still rise to my feet to object to the judge, derail a town meeting, or yell at a cop for being a loose cannon. But, practically speaking, moving forward, it’s time for my work, like in my life, to start skewing more wheelchair, if you will.”
Bailey reassured he was the same guy … just “now with wheels.”
In addition to playing Joe the bartender on ‘Grey’s,’ Bailey has also appeared on “Chicago Fire,” “You,” “Modern Family,” “Shameless,” “Scandal,” “All That,” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” among other hit TV shows.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner aren’t just attending awards season … they’re dominating it.
The couple stole the show again with a serious makeout during a commercial break.
Kylie popped up Sunday night at the Golden Globes to support boyfriend, who took home the Golden Globe award for best actor in a musical or comedy for his performance in “Marty Supreme.”
While Kylie skipped the red carpet, she still managed to turn the night into her personal runway. Just before the show kicked off, Kylie teased her look on Instagram, revealing a jaw dropping gold gown that clung to every curve.
She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin heels, a vintage Gucci clutch, and enough diamonds to light up the entire Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom.
Kylie’s custom Lorraine Schwartz jewelry was the real showstopper, featuring diamond rings and statement earrings totaling 75 carats.
Timothée, meanwhile, kept things cool and classic in an all black ensemble, rocking a vest, blazer, and pants tucked into boots. He topped off the look with a silver necklace.
The couple was last seen together just a week earlier at the Critics Choice Awards, where they coordinated in black and Timothée took home the Best Actor trophy … even giving Kylie a nod in his acceptance speech.

Dons ‘Spinal Tap’ Hat at Close of Show

Rob Reiner wasn’t forgotten at this year’s Golden Globe awards … because host Nikki Glaser paid tribute to him just weeks after his murder.
Here’s the deal … during the sign-off for the awards show, Nikki came onstage wearing a black and white “Spinal Tap” hat — the band which serves as the subject of Reiner’s iconic 1984 mockumentary of the same name.
Worth noting … the Golden Globes do not typically air an in memoriam — so this was the only time Reiner was mentioned at the show.
As you know … Rob and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead in their Los Angeles home last month. Their son Nick Reiner has been arrested for murder in connection to the case.

Nick’s arraignment was scheduled for last week … but, his lawyer Alan Jackson dropped out of the case — leaving Nick with a public defender and new arraignment date set for late February.
Jackson told a gaggle of reporters outside the courthouse that Nick’s not guilty … but, he simply can’t defend him. He did not provide a reason for his withdrawal.

Celebrities Protest ICE With ‘Be Good’ Buttons

Jean Smart, Mark Ruffalo and Wanda Sykes and other celebs subtly slammed the Trump administration and its deployment of ICE officers … donning pins at the Golden Globe Awards to recognize slain citizen Renee Good.
“Be Good” — that’s the message celebrities delivered on their big night, by wearing pins with the wording … a reference to the woman who was killed by an ICE agent in Minnesota Wednesday.

Wanda spoke to Variety about her notable accessory … telling her that it was of course a reference to Renee.
She continued … “I know people are out marching and all today, and we need to speak up. We need to be out there and shut this rogue government down because it’s just awful what they’re doing to people.”
To all of the MAGA Republicans and ICE defenders who are claiming that this woman in Minneapolis, Minnesota, tried to run ICE officers over with her car before they shot and killed her, here is the actual video.

PageSix reports the #BeGood campaign is also meant to honor Keith Porter, the man who was killed by an off-duty ICE officer on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles.
Remember … Renee Nicole Good was shot by an ICE officer while in her car. While Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told TMZ the shooting was done in self-defense, many — including Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey — have questioned that claim.
At the awards show Sunday, Judd Apatow was less subtle about his views on the current administration saying simply, “I believe we’re a dictatorship now.”
