Giorgio Armani will be the official menswear supplier to Italian football club Juventus FC for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 league seasons.
Armani will outfit Juventus FC
The 91-year-old designer and the Turin-based club have announced their collaboration, indicating in a joint statement that Armani will supply “formal menswear” to Juventus’s men’s team for off-pitch occasions.
For its social media channels, Juventus rummaged in its archives and found a picture of a 1975 team jersey bearing squad number 75, the year in which Armani launched his first collection.
Armani has outfitted other football teams in the past. He even attracted criticism in his country for tailoring the outfits of the England team at the 2006 football World Cup.
Health problems have for the first time caused Armani to miss the recent Milan and Paris fashion week shows. He has said he will be back in September.
Armani usually spends the summer in Milan or in his villa on the Sicilian island of Pantelleria. His personal worth is estimated at €7 billion.
For decades, Armani has been one of the world’s leading fashion designers. After initially working for other labels, in the mid-1970s he founded his own company, Giorgio Armani SpA, with partner Sergio Galeotti.
It was the kernel of a group that is now worth several billion euro. The Giorgio Armani group has 9,250 employees worldwide and operates over 2,000 monobrand stores, generating an annual revenue in excess of €2.3 billion.
