Gene Simmons pulled back the curtain on his pickup method in a recent interview … because he used a line on the TV news anchor who was asking him questions!!!
Ya gotta see this interaction between the rock legend and Scripps News anchor Maritsa Georgiou … as their 10-minute interview is winding down, Gene starts hitting on her.
The KISS frontman asks Maritsa, “By the way, are you still modeling?”
Maritsa is speechless for a few moments before replying, “What?” Gene asks the same question, and she responds, “I don’t model, sir.”
Gene grins from behind his black sunglasses and says, “Oh, I assumed” … and Maritsa laughs and tells him, “Well, I appreciate that.”
She thanks him for his time, and the segment ends.
Models seem to be Gene’s type. He’s been married to Shannon Tweed — who’s both a model and actress — since 2011.
Gene was on Scripps News Monday night talking about KISS being celebrated at the Kennedy Center Honors and his support for the American Music Fairness Act, which would force radio broadcasters to pay artists performance royalties.
Clearly, things went off track by the end.
Maritsa posted the clip on her Instagram and added three see-no-evil monkey emojis.

Suspect Charged W/ Attempted Murder

A 20-year-old man has been hit with an attempted murder charge for his alleged role in the Kris Boyd shooting … with the suspected gunman spotted being escorted out of a police station in handcuffs on Tuesday.
Frederick Green from the Bronx is facing three charges stemming from the Nov. 16 incident — on top of the attempted murder, he’s also accused of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to cops, he was officially arrested and charged at 11:45 PM Monday night after being tracked down in Buffalo.
Cameras captured Green being taken from the Midtown South Precinct in Manhattan to the courthouse for his arraignment on Tuesday.
As we previously reported, 29-year-old Boyd — in his first year with the New York Jets — was shot outside NYC hotspot Sei Less around 2 AM last month.
Boyd was shot in the abdomen and was taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
Cops released an image of a person of interest shortly after the incident … showing a man in a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants.
As for Boyd, he’s on the road to recovery … and was able to return to the Jets’ facility recently to reunite with his teammates.

Nick Fuentes is making news outside of his usual Nazi-loving, misogynist ramblings … for the first time, he’s revealed that he’s still a virgin at 27!
The white nationalist podcaster sat down Monday with Piers Morgan for a wide-ranging interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” — and things got tense when the convo turned to Fuentes’ sexuality.
At one point, Morgan asked Fuentes if he’s attracted to women, and Fuentes confirmed that he is … but he finds it “very difficult” to be around them.
When Morgan asked if he’s gay, Fuentes replied, “No.” Then Morgan turned to Fuentes’ misogyny before looping back to the topic of sex and asked Fuentes the million-dollar question … has he ever had sex in his 27 years on the planet?
Check out Fuentes’ response in the clip … it’s pretty shocking. Kudos to Piers for getting Fuentes to give up the goods about his lack of carnal knowledge.
