Wife Made Phone Calls Day After Suspected Death Date

Gene Hackman’s wife, Betsy Arakawa, made phone calls to a medical center on the morning after the day officials first identified she was believed to have died — throwing a wrench into the timeline of both their deaths.
Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Denise Womack-Avila stated the department obtained phone records confirming Betsy made three phone calls to a Santa Fe medical center on the morning of February 12 — the day after New Mexico officials concluded she likely had died … from hantavirus, a rare and potentially fatal disease.

Womack-Avila told TMZ Tuesday … “We can now confirm that Mrs. Hackman’s phone was utilized on the morning of February 12 to call a medical center in Santa Fe, Cloudberry Health. A total of three calls were made that morning, all to the medical center.”
The sheriff’s office confirmed Betsy missed a call from the same medical center later that day.

They haven’t said what the calls were about, and it’s not clear if Betsy made them herself.

It’s unclear if this changes the timeline for Gene’s death on February 18 … investigators have said the last known activity from his pacemaker was on February 17. Gene’s official cause of death is heart disease and advanced Alzheimer’s disease — and officials believe he didn’t realize Betsy was dead in the home due to his condition.
Gene and Betsy’s bodies were found at their Santa Fe home on February 26 … one of their dogs was also found dead. Two other dogs were found healthy on the property, reportedly leading first responders to find Gene’s body. The investigation is ongoing.

Hailey Bieber is fed up with some of the false narratives and rumors about her that are spreading online … and she’s exploring ways to fight back.
Sources close to Hailey tell TMZ … the latest disgusting narrative online tries to paint Hailey as a bully and stalker and she’s considering taking legal action for the first time.
Just last week, there was a video making the rounds on TikTok alleging she liked a mean post about Selena Gomez‘s fiancé, Benny Blanco. Now, there’s a 7-part series on YouTube claiming she stalked Justin Bieber and used her connections to get him to be her husband.
Our sources say Hailey is sick and tired of the hateful narratives, which have dogged her for years and are often revisited … and she’s going to try something new and possibly hire an attorney to go after the bloggers and online commentors. We’re told the narratives online are doctored and fabricated to make Hailey look bad, and her biggest issue is the misinformation is being taken at face value.
We’re told Hailey’s never wanted to give her haters any of her energy because she feels the narratives are ridiculous and far from the truth … but things are different now because she’s as mom.
Our sources say Hailey recently reached out to pit bull attorney Lisa Moore, who famously represented Cardi B in her defamation case against blogger Tasha K.
We’re told Hailey wants Lisa to explore any legal action she may be able to take against the false statements and videos about her online.
It worked for Cardi … Moore helped her win a $4 million defamation judgment against Tasha K.

Proclaims He Has Pro Bodybuilding Potential

If Jonathan Majors ever gets tired of being an A-list actor, weightlifting legend Ronnie Coleman tells TMZ Sports the dude could seriously be a pro bodybuilder!!
Coleman made the proclamation in a sit-down with us on Tuesday — just a few days after he had put Majors through a grueling chest and arms workout in Colombia.

Coleman said he was so impressed with Majors’ muscles during the gym session, he came away certain that if he coached Majors for around 6-to-12 months, the 35-year-old would be able to compete for hardware at real-deal physique shows.
“He is in awesome shape,” Coleman said. “Awesome shape. He’s in good enough shape now to get on stage and compete as a bodybuilder. And he’s got an awesome physique. He trains pretty regularly.”
Coleman, of course, knows a thing or two about what it takes to impress judges … he’s an eight-time Mr. Olympia who’s widely considered one of the sport’s biggest icons.
“He’s got great shape,” Coleman said of Majors. “He’s in phenomenal condition. I was kind of shocked about his conditioning.”
Majors, though, doesn’t appear to be in line for any sort of career change just yet … and Coleman clearly thinks that’s a good idea, because he told us he recently got a sneak peek at the actor’s new bodybuilding-themed flick, “Magazine Dreams,” and he loved it.
The movie is set to be released on Friday … getcha popcorn protein bars ready!
