The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department held a news conference to give an update on the investigation into the deaths of legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, this afternoon — and, it sounds like Gene was dead in the New Mexico home for a week and a half before he was found.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza led the news conference as deputies continue to look into the deaths they labeled “suspicious” in a department application for a search warrant this week.

During the press conference, Mendoza says Hackman’s pacemaker shows its last event on February 17 — indicating that’s when it stopped and when he died. The full autopsy is pending.

Mendoza is laying out the timeline of events … explaining how officers discovered Hackman, Arakawa and their dog deceased in the home. Animal control got involved to ensure the two living dogs — who appeared healthy — were kept safe.

Mendoza says there were no surveillance cameras inside or outside the residence that could aid officers’ investigation. They’re working to determined when Gene or Betsy last contacted anyone.

As you know … Gene and his wife Betsy were found dead in their home Wednesday afternoon after a caretaker of their neighborhood dialed 911 to report seeing a body in the couple’s house, and deputies responded to conduct a welfare check.

The caller was incredibly emotional … and, when first responders arrived, they found Hackman, Arakawa and one of their dogs unresponsive. The three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Cops are looking into the death they’ve labeled as suspicious for a variety of reasons … like numerous pills spilled out on a bathroom counter, an unlocked front door, and no obvious signs of a gas leak.

The sheriff and the Santa Fe fire chief spoke on “TODAY” Friday and admitted they weren’t ruling out the carbon monoxide poisoning theory … since the bodies weren’t found for some time and gas could have dissipated.

Hackman was 95 … Arakawa was 65.

Ryan Seacrest is getting big with one of his bros in the gym … sharing a workout video with the guy who replaced him on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” — Mark Conseulos!

The popular host shared a short clip to social media Friday which shows Consuelos doing sit-ups … telling fans he’s just trying to get a workout in.

But, when he goes back to the ground, Seacrest is revealed to be stretching out behind him … and, MC keeps ending up right between his pal’s legs whenever he’s fully laid back.

The two dudes are barely holding back the giggles … clearly enjoying seeing each other — and, they even posed for a gym selfie with their muscles bulging too.

Of course, Mark and Ryan have known each other for years as Ryan has been close with the family since beginning hosting duties on ‘Live’ with Kelly Ripa in 2017.

Ryan left the show in 2023 … and, Mark took over for him last year — appearing on weekday mornings alongside his wife of more than two decades.

They host the show in NYC … unclear why Mark’s out in L.A. in this clip — but, it looks like he and Seacrest are putting the work in out in Cali!

… After Jessi Said She Wanted Annulment

Jenna Jameson and her wife Jessi Lawless appear to be splitting up … ’cause Jenna just filed for divorce — almost a year after Jessi said she was done with the marriage.

The former porn star turned businesswoman filed in a Nevada court Thursday. The documents don’t cite a reason … but, Jenna says the two have been living separately since April.

Jenna’s asking the court to let her keep a series of high-priced items … including multiple luxury handbags, jewelry, clothes and personal painting.

Also, it looks like the two won’t have to co-parent any new kids … ’cause Jenna claims she and Jessi aren’t pregnant.

Remember, last year Lawless claimed she was splitting from Jameson … after Jessi claimed Jenna was drinking despite promising she wouldn’t when they first got married.

In an annulment filing, Jessi cited the drinking issue as well as an alleged debt of $500K as the reason she wanted the whole marriage wiped away.

However, a day or so after posting the video, Jessi took it down … and, it seems she never followed up with the case — ’cause a court dismissed the action in December after she failed to move the case along.

We’ve reached out to Jessi about the divorce … so far, no word back.

Kate Hudson’s new series “Running Point” is dribbling its way into Netflix viewers’ hearts — and from the looks of it, filming was a total blast!

The cast and crew, including EP Mindy Kaling, shared a bunch of BTS snaps — showing all the courtside fun, both on- and off-camera.

From dressing room shenanigans to Zoom calls and between-take chilling, the set looked like the ultimate place to be.

With other projects dropping horror stories from their sets … the “Running Point” group shots show they got lucky and slam-dunked into a whole lot of fun and camaraderie with this one!
