An ad buy begins Tuesday in support of Byron Donalds‘ gubernatorial campaign, making sure that voters know the Congressman from Naples is the chosen candidate of President Donald Trump.
“Byron Donalds will be Florida’s next Governor because he is the America First conservative trusted by President Trump to lower costs, put more money in families’ pockets, and keep us safe from illegal immigration. Under Byron’s leadership, we will remain the Free State of Florida because Byron will give no quarter to the Left’s radical agenda,” said Ryan Smith, Chairman of Friends of Byron Donalds PAC.
The spot, which will be visible on streaming and digital platforms, emphasizes that Trump has “strongly endorsed” Donalds, including images of the two men together and Trump calling Donalds a “superstar of the future” at a rally.
“The President trusts him. The left hates him. Florida needs him,” the voiceover says of “Florida’s conservative fighter.”
More than a million dollars has been committed to the spot, and Chair Smith suggests that much more air support is on the way for as long as needed.
“Our first ad is live, and with our unmatched war chest, we are fully prepared to stay on the air until Byron’s Democrat opponents are stopped, Florida remains red, and Byron Donalds becomes the next Governor of Florida,” Smith said.
Donalds leads the Republican field in fundraising and in every credible poll, but with many voters still undecided, this spot will help introduce the candidate to them.
