Tech expert Jacky Wright has joined Frasers Group’s board as a non-executive director, effective 24 September, albeit pending final board approval.

Wright is a “globally recognised technology executive and advocate for inclusive innovation”, and joins the board with over three decades of experience leading digital transformation across the private and public sectors.
She most recently served as chief technology and platform officer at McKinsey & Company, where she led the management consultancy’s tech strategy, artificial intelligence (AI) transformation and technology modernisation efforts.
She was also chief digital officer at tech giant Microsoft for over 10 years.
Additionally, Wright’s served on multiple corporate and non-profit boards, mentored emerging leaders and “continues to shape the future of technology through ethical leadership, innovation, and a commitment to equity”.
Frasers’ new chair Sir Jon Thompson “welcome[d] her wealth of experience in digital and AI transformation to further drive the Group’s long-term ambitions”. And CEO Michael Murray added: “Today’s announcement of the proposed appointment reinforces the group’s commitment to this pivotal next phase of the Elevation Strategy.
