Minneapolis Mayhem Federal Agent Shoots Migrant … Two People In Custody
Published
One week after Renee Good was killed by an ICE agent, a federal officer has shot another person during a targeted operation in Minnesota, authorities said.
Tricia McLaughlin, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary, tells TMZ … federal law enforcement officers targeted an undocumented migrant from Venezuela, pulling the man over during a Wednesday night traffic stop in Minneapolis.
At 6:50 PM CT, federal law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis of an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the country by Joe Biden in 2022.
In an attempt to evade arrest, the subject fled the scene in his vehicle and crashed…
McLaughlin said the man fled in a vehicle but eventually crashed into a parked car and then ran off. One federal officer gave chase and caught up to the man, who began assaulting the fed.
During their ensuing battle, two other people allegedly stepped out of a building nearby and attacked the federal officer with a snow shovel and broom stick. McLaughlin said the officer feared for his life and pulled a gun, pumping a bullet into the leg of the man with whom he started fighting.
The officer who was attacked and the shooting victim were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known. McLaughlin said the two other subjects dashed back inside the building and barricaded themselves inside, but were soon taken into custody.
The latest shooting comes on the heels of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent gunning down Renee Good as she sat inside her vehicle, also in Minneapolis. Good and her partner had gotten into a dispute with ICE officers over their enforcement immigration operations, leading to the fatal shooting.
President Trump and the Department of Justice have sided with the ICE officer, Jonathan Ross, describing his action as purely self-defense. Minnesota state officials have a different take, labeling what Ross allegedly did as murder.
Jonathan Ross — the ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good while she was behind the wheel of her car in Minneapolis last week — reportedly suffered internal bleeding from their confrontation … according to Trump administration officials.
Two unnamed U.S. officials told CBS News Ross sustained an injury to his torso, but did not divulge how extensive the bleeding was. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the report of the injury, CBS News reports.
As you know … Ross shot Goodin traffic on a residential street in Minneapolis on January 7. Good appeared to try to drive away from the scene as ICE officers ordered her out of her Honda Pilot. Ross, standing at the front of her vehicle, fired shots at Good, fatally striking her in the head. Video appears to show physical contact between Ross and the vehicle.
Tuesday night, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanchetold Fox News Digital … “There is currently no basis for a criminal civil rights investigation.” The incident was being investigated by the FBI … the bureau excluded Minnesota state investigators from the case last week.
The Trump Administration maintains Ross shot Good in self-defense.
In the aftermath of the shooting, GoFundMe campaigns have been launched for each party involved. The campaign for Ross has raised more than $700K since it launched over the weekend. The fundraiser benefiting Good’s wife and son has surpassed $1 million.
It’s unclear if Ross will be able to accept his donations, as federal government employees can’t receive any supplementations to their salaries as compensation for their services, according to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.
The events of Jan. 7 are still under investigation.
Sydney Sweeney is wildin’ out on OnlyFans with a full-on booty shake — psych! It’s not her. It’s Cassie going full send in the latest “Euphoria” trailer, and yeah… things get very raunchy, very fast.
Yup — the first teaser for S3 just dropped, and Sydney is fully locked into Cassie mode, playing a cam girl with one very up-close, in-your-face shot of her shaking her booty while rocking a sexy bunny-tail cosplay outfit.
There’s some other quick flashes of Cassie filming adult content on a bed — until her boo Nate (Jacob Elordi) walks in mid-scene, and makes it clear he’s not thrilled about her new X-rated side hustle.
There’s a LOT happening — clearly making up for the four-year wait since Sam Levinson’s drama disappeared from our screens — and with the story jumping five years ahead, Zendaya’s Rue is still tangled up in that dangerous drug-debt mess we last left her in.
The trailer also makes it clear we’ll be checking back in with Hunter Schafer’s Jules, Maude Apatow’s Lexi, Alexa Demie’s Maddy and the rest of the chaotic crew in the final season of “Euphoria” — with the ultra-raunchy ride set to hit HBO on April 12!
Prosecutors in New Mexico want Timothy Busfield behind bars as his child sex abuse case plays out … painting him as a child predator who poses a danger to any kid who gets near him.
In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors lay out all the reasons why they want Timothy to remain locked up as the criminal case proceeds … including the serious allegations he’s facing here, plus a fresh accusation made yesterday from the father of an alleged victim.
Prosecutors say the alleged victims here were child actors on “The Cleaning Lady” while Timothy was directing the show in 2022 in New Mexico … and they say one of the boys claims Timothy repeatedly touched his penis and buttocks over clothing when they were alone on set, often while the kid was lying on a bed.
In the docs, prosecutors say the alleged victim’s claims are corroborated by therapy records diagnosing him with PTSD and anxiety; medical records documenting grooming and sexual abuse concerns; behavioral change, including nightmares, bed-wetting, withdrawal and fear, plus independent witnesses describing Timothy as “touchy” and physically inappropriate.
Prosecutors say Timothy admitted he likely tickled and touched the children involved in the case and maintained off-set social relationships with them and their family … though they claim he contradicted himself when he told police he “didn’t really know the boys.”
They say the boy’s twin brother independently disclosed unwanted touching by Timothy and “corroborated the pattern of inappropriate physical contact authority based silence.”
Prosecutors say Timothy encouraged the boys to call him “Uncle Tim” and purchased gifts, socialized with the family outside of work, and “exploited the chaotic filming environment to isolate the children — conduct consistent with grooming behaviors recognized in child sex abuse cases.”
And get this … the father of another alleged victim came forward to law enforcement Tuesday to report his daughter was sexually abused by Busfield in Sacramento, California, several years ago.
According to the court filing, the 16-year-old girl was auditioning for Busfield at a theater when he kissed her and slipped his hands down her pants, touching her vagina. The records state Busfield begged the family not to report the incident to law enforcement if he received therapy … and the dad — who is a therapist — thought at the time it was the best way to handle it.
They say Timothy “poses an ongoing and serious danger to children and the community” and claim “his conduct reflects a calculated pattern of grooming, lack of boundaries, and exploitation of professional authority to gain access to minors.”
Prosecutors say Timothy has “a documented pattern of sexual misconduct, abuse of authority, and grooming behavior.” They say he faced sexual assault allegations in 1994 when a 17-year-old extra on “Little Big League” sued him in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming Timothy assaulted her, served her alcohol, groped her and attempted to have sex with her in a trailer. They say Timothy denied the claims, counter sued for extortion and settled privately.
What’s more, prosecutors say in 2012 a 28-year-old woman accused Timothy of battery in a Los Angeles movie theater … alleging he slipped his hand under her clothes and touched her genitals for four minutes. They say cops took a report but prosecutors in L.A. declined to file criminal charges and Timothy called the alleged encounter consensual.
Prosecutors say Warner Bros. investigated Timothy in February 2024 after an anonymous complaint was made through the SAG-AFTRA hotline … where Timothy was accused of entering a trailer on the set of “The Cleaning Lady” and kissing a 6-year-old boy on the face while the kid was getting a haircut. They say the complaint further alleged there were photos of Timothy “tickling and caressing the head and bodies of minor boys, obviously drunk.”
