The families of the 4 University of Idaho students slaughtered by Bryan Kohberger in 2022 are suing the school where he was employed as a teaching assistant at — Washington State University — for damages, as they accuse the institution of failing to act on numerous warning signs about the murderer.
The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of Washington on Wednesday by family members of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin and is demanding Washington State be held liable for “its own decisions and actions to remain idle in the face of known extreme and repeated instances of discrimination, sexual harassment, and stalking by Kohberger occurring in its educational program.”
The lawsuit argues that almost as soon as Kohberger arrived on campus in Pullman, Washington — about 10 miles from the city of Moscow, where he murdered his victims — he “developed a reputation for discriminatory, harassing, and stalking behavior, instilling substantial fear among young female students and fellow WSU employees, necessitating regular security escorts for multiple females.”
The families go on to say there were “at least 13 formal reports of Kohberger’s inappropriate, predatory and menacing behavior,” but WSU turned a blind eye and “allowed Kohberger’s escalating behavior to continue unchecked.”
It’s not a secret female students and staffers felt uncomfortable around Kohberger, as detailed in the lengthy investigation into the murders … and the families make sure to list example after example of how his behavior was wildly concerning at WSU. For instance, the lawsuit claims one student began leaving her office door open because she believed he would “do something inappropriate with a student.” Another student, according to the suit, claimed he “would trap her in her office and try to talk to her about the Ted Bundy murders.”
Notably, he was working to obtain a Ph.D. at WSU, “with a study focused on sexually motivated burglars and serial killers,” the lawsuit says. It further claims WSU “paid him a salary, provided free on-campus housing, medical benefits, and free tuition, all conditioned on his behavior and subject to being revoked” … but never took disciplinary action amif the many complaints and instead, continued providing him with such benefits. They’re seeking damages, including attorneys fees, and a trial by jury.
As you know, Kohberger was sentenced to 4 lifetimes in prison without parole for brutally stabbing Goncalves, Mogen, Kernodle, and Chapin to death. He also received 10 years for a burglary charge and $270,000 in fines and civil penalties.
During his July 2025 sentencing, family members of the 4 slain students ripped Kohberger apart … with Goncalves’ family calling him “cowardly” and “gutless.” Kernodle’s family also previously blasted the plea deal he was offered.

Deletes IG After Child Abuse Claims Against Timothy Busfield

Melissa Gilbert has deleted her Instagram account as her husband — actor and director Timothy Busfield — faces serious child sex abuse allegations.
Gilbert’s Instagram page is no longer accessible as of Sunday. Users attempting to view her account now see a message stating the profile is unavailable or has been removed.
The sudden social media wipeout comes just days after the Albuquerque Police Department issued an arrest warrant accusing Busfield of unlawful sexual conduct involving two minors.
As we reported … Melissa’s husband was accused of sexually abusing underage boys who were child actors on “The Cleaning Lady” while he was directing it. An investigation into Busfield commenced in November 2024, and a warrant for his arrest was issued Friday.
However, during a police interview, Busfield told detectives the show’s lead actress, Elodie Yung, claimed the mom of the 2 boys wanted revenge for her kids not being invited back for the show’s final season.
Gilbert spoke out against child sex abuse just a few weeks before the warrant was issued.

New Video Reveals Lead-Up to Deadly ICE Shooting

The Department of Homeland Security has released a new video showing the tense three minutes leading up to the deadly ICE shooting of Renee Nicole Good.
In the newly released clip, Good is seen parking her vehicle sideways in the middle of the street, effectively blocking ICE vehicles from getting through. The move is especially clear in the final minute of the video, where her car is positioned in a way that prevents agents from passing.
The footage shows ICE vehicles slowing and stopping as the situation unfolds, with the standoff building. DHS says the video provides critical context for what agents were dealing with just before the shooting.
According to DHS, Good’s vehicle placement impeded federal agents, turning a routine operation into a rapidly escalating encounter.

The video release comes as scrutiny around the shooting continues to intensify. DHS maintains the clip that helps explain the circumstances leading up to the fatal moment.
The FBI has begun investigating the circumstances of the shooting … but state investigators have been denied access to evidence, according to the AP.

Wipes Beckham Family Pics From Instagram!!!

Nicola Peltz is starting 2026 with a clean slate and a not so subtle message.
The actress quietly wiped all traces of the Beckham family from her Instagram, deleting multiple posts that included her husband Brooklyn Beckham‘s estranged relatives, including a once-loving birthday tribute to Victoria Beckham.
Back in 2024, when Victoria turned 50, Nicola posted a cozy photo of the two with a glowing caption … “Happy birthday to my beautiful mil Victoria Beckham. I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.” Victoria even responded in the comments with plenty of love and kisses.
Fast forward to now, and that post is gone … along with every other Beckham-related photo on Nicola’s page.
The social media cleanup comes days after Brooklyn reportedly told his famous parents to only contact him through attorneys, asking them to stop reaching out directly and to avoid making public comments about him.
As TMZ first reported … sources with direct knowledge say tensions between Brooklyn, Nicola, and David and Victoria remain sky high. We’ve been told there has been zero contact or effort at reconciliation, and some family members are frustrated the famous parents haven’t made a serious attempt to mend fences.
We broke the story in May … Victoria believed Nicola stole her son, and drama erupted at Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding when Victoria stepped onto the dance floor during the couple’s first dance, leaving Nicola in tears.
