David Lewkowitz is the new CEO of European delivery company Mondial Relay, after working 12 years at Amazon, lately as head of European supply chain operations. Mondial Relay has also named a new CFO, Jean-François Dohogne.

Lewkowitz worked for over six years in Paris at consulting firm Bain & Co., and joined Amazon France in 2013. He held various senior posts at the US e-tailer, including head of sales and operations planning for continental Europe, head of operations France, and president of Amazon France Logistique. In May 2024, he was appointed head of EU supply chain operations for Amazon.
“[Lewkowitz’s] solid experience and leadership in the logistics field will be key assets for strengthening Mondial Relay’s position across Europe,” said Michael Rouse, president of parent company InPost. “I am sure that David will be able to successfully execute our strategy, accelerate our transformation, and help shape the future of e-commerce deliveries within the InPost group,” he added.
Lewkowitz will notably be relying on a new CFO, Jean-François Dohogne, who has joined Mondial Relay after stints at McKinsey, Bpost and Carrefour.
Both appointments come at a pivotal time for Mondial Relay, which in spring split up with some of the retailers included in its network of delivery collection points. The company is keen to boost the use of automated lockers for its parcel deliveries.
In France, where Mondial Relay was first set up as a subsidiary of the 3 Suisses group, the company currently has over 8,000 delivery lockers, nearly as many as its collection points with partner retailers, whose number fell from 11,000 to 9,000.
Mondial Relay has over 50,000 brands and e-tailers among its clients, and also operates in Benelux, Spain and Portugal, via 20,000 collection points. Last year, the company said it delivered 266.7 million parcels, up 11%.
The InPost group, with nearly 1.1 billion parcels delivered, generated a revenue of €2.5 billion in the last fiscal year, equivalent to a 23.5% increase.
