Jillian Lauren Shriner — soon-to-be ex-wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner — is breaking her silence for the first time since she was arrested for allegedly pointing and firing a gun at officers who were looking for a suspect near her Eagle Rock, California home.

As we reported back in April, Jillian was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a peace officer, but was later charged with assault and negligent discharge of a firearm. She’s now speaking out about the incident in an interview with Rolling Stone, saying … “I was doing the best I knew to protect my family.”

Jillian explains there are limits to what she can share about the case, but reveals she has entered a two-year mental health diversion program that is expected to result in her charges being dismissed … however, the case is still officially open for now.

She had shots returned to her during the standoff, striking her in the arm. She was charged with two felonies.

In regard to Jillian’s mental health, she gets vulnerable with the outlet, sharing … “My PTSD is a very real thing. I’m a victim of sex trafficking and domestic violence.” And, she says she doesn’t mind the headlines mentioning “Mental Health Diversion,’’ explaining she’s open to discussing it and she feels she is in a position to speak about the topic.

However, the headlines that really got to her the most were about her relationship with Scott. She notes … “The headlines about the divorce were the ones that really hurt me. I was the one who served my husband, but still, to see it in the public was really painful.”

She’s currently in the process of divorcing Scott over “irreconcilable differences” and told RS they had grown apart over the years, adding that her trouble with the law served as a “crisis” point. She says their date of separation is TBD.

Elsie Hewitt‘s got an instant connection with her baby girl … singing the little one’s praises in a social media post Saturday.

The model shared a message to all the moms out there via Instagram … asking them if they too “stare at your baby and cry at how much you love them and can’t believe it’s yours and that your body made this perfect thing.”

Clearly, it’s an experience Elsie goes through … which shouldn’t come as a shock given how head over heels she’s admitted to feeling since she and Pete welcomed their daughter, Scottie, to the world.

As you know … Elsie and Pete announced their good fortune in a social media post Thursday … revealing Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson was born on December 12.

Shortly after her announcement, Elsie also revealed she needed surgery on her wisdom teeth … so, maybe the painkillers put her in her feels, too.

Nicki Minaj probably wanted a mulligan on her comments about J.D. Vance during a Turning Point USA event … calling the VP an “assassin” — during a chat with Erika Kirk.

The rapper appeared onstage at TPUSA’s AmericaFest Sunday … sitting down to heap praise on the current administration while Charlie Kirk‘s widow asked her questions about her foray into politics.

At first, Nicki’s getting the crowd energized … telling young men not to be “new-scum” — a dig at California Governor Gavin Newsom. Instead, she encourages them to be like the “handsome” and “dashing” President Donald Trump.

As you know … Charlie Kirk was murdered in September while speaking on a college campus in an alleged political assassination … and Erika’s been publicly navigating the difficult past few months. So, while Nicki clearly didn’t mean to offend, her comment’s an obvious faux pas.

Erika gracefully saves Nicki from stewing in the embarrassment … telling her she’s heard “everything under the sun” … and she laughs it off.

Minaj and Kirk also talked about ignoring the haters … bonding over their indifference to angry social media mobs.
