Justin Baldoni is clapping back at Blake Lively‘s attempt to get his lawsuit against her tossed out of court, while once again accusing her of trying to destroy his career, according to new court documents.

Baldoni just filed his response to Blake’s motion to dismiss his lawsuit in federal court — giving several reasons why the judge should not let the actress off the hook.

In the docs, Baldoni accuses Blake of orchestrating, participating in and directing a smear campaign “designed to ruin the reputations and careers of the Wayfarer parties.”

Justin filed his own suit against Blake her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and the New York Times, claiming Blake directed her own smear campaign against him with the help of an NYT article.

In his latest filing, Baldoni says “there is sufficient evidence that [Lively] took a responsible part in publishing each of the allegedly defamatory statements by approving or authorizing them prior to publication.”

Baldoni also points out “Lively told the NYT a false and damning story about an insidious PR sabotage operation deployed as revenge for sexual harassment complaints, with the knowledge and intent that the newspaper would publish that false story[.]”

Baldoni went on to list other reasons why the judge should deny Blake’s motion, including that she acted out of malice.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, telling TMZ, “Ms. Lively and her circle of Hollywood elites cannot prevent my clients from exercising their constitutional right to petition the court to clear their names from her false and harmful claims.”

Freedman continued, “What Ms. Lively is attempting to do is to set a dangerous precedent by barring the courthouse doors to my clients and punishing them for having their day in court, a right protected by the First Amendment. This right protects not only Mr. Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties in this particular case, but all Americans in the future who have false accusations levied against them and seek relief from our justice system.”

Duke Gadd‘s cause of death has been released … the drummer died of an overdose of fentanyl and cocaine — mirroring what Corey Feldman originally said after he passed.

According to a spokesperson for Clark County, Nevada … Gadd died from “combined toxic effects of fentanyl and cocaine.” He also suffered from high blood pressure.

Remember … Corey announced the death on social media — saying Duke died in Las Vegas and sharing a short clip of the musician banging away on the drums.

At the time, Corey said it was a fentanyl overdose … but, Gadd’s family fired off at the star — with his mom, Carol Gadd, saying they hadn’t received final word from the coroner yet and sarcastically calling Feldman “Dr. Corey.”

Initially, Carol said they’d heard Corey had a heart attack — and a drug was probably involved, but no one specifically said fentanyl.

Worth noting … Corey ultimately took down the Instagram post about Duke — so, it seems he realized he waded into territory he probably shouldn’t have.

Duke was the son of legendary drummer Steve Gadd. He was 41.

Blake Lively might want to look over the food handler’s license test … ’cause her free-flowing locks have put a Connecticut donut shop she helped out under a microscope.

Here’s the deal … earlier this week, Lively helped out a friend who owns a small donut shop in Wilton, CT — working a mixer, putting out the sweet treats for customers and just generally doing down-to-earth, everyday kind of work.

Of course, some people online have a bone to pick with Lively … and, they’re pissed she didn’t put on a hair net or a hat, or tie it back, while working and serving up the treats — writing on social media about it, even calling the local health department.

Worth noting … the shop’s Yelp Page has been temporarily disabled because commenters flooded it with negative reviews after Blake made her cameo appearance there — with Yelp explaining they’re investigating “whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent events.”

Before comments were disabled, a few users did actually post about Blake’s lack of a hair net … so, it seems it was something people really noticed this time around.

While some may actually be mad about hair nets, it’s safe to assume some are just happy to hate on Blake because of her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

A source close to Blake tells us … “The so-called complaints are from people who have never been there and who don’t even live in Connecticut. Targeting a lovely, small, family-owned business is a new low in the retaliation campaign.”

Blake’s haters called her a hypocrite just this week for a resurfaced interview where she admitted to improvising a scene where she grabbed her costar Henry Golding‘s balls during “A Simple Favor.”

Only time will tell if the Wilton Health Department’s investigation will prove sweet — or if it’s really just full of holes.
