Elon Musk Dismisses Drug Use Story in NYT … Accuses Pulitzer Prize Winner of False Reporting

2:52 PM PT — A spokesperson for The New York Times tells TMZ … “Elon Musk’s statements today were inaccurate. Donald J. Trump’s lawsuit in Florida is against the Pulitzer Prize board, not The New York Times. The decision solely related to whether the case be temporarily suspended. It did not address the merits of the president’s claims.”
“We understand the Pulitzer board will continue to defend its decision and we expect the case will show the quality of the reporting in The Times coverage. The Times has never received a request for a correction or been sued over the facts in our reporting. We’d also note that Musk didn’t deny any of the reporting we published this morning.”
Elon Musk is scoffing at the New York Times report accusing him of abusing drugs … claiming the Times isn’t a reputable news source anyway — so, don’t read a dang thing they publish.
The Tesla owner was in the Oval Office Friday at a farewell press conference as he steps down from his role leading the Department of Governmental Efficiency and prepares to leave D.C.
The first question of the press conference was directed at Musk — and it was all about a report in the NYT claiming Elon has consumed a copious amount of drugs over the past couple years.
In the article, the Times claims Elon told people he was “taking so much ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, that it was affecting his bladder.” Sources also told the outlet he allegedly traveled with a “daily medication box that held about 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall.” Ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms are also mentioned.
When asked for his reaction to the news in the White House, Elon roasted the Times — calling them out for blowing up “Russiagate” and winning a Pulitzer Prize for reporting on it.
Remember … “Russiagate” is what Donald Trump and other Republicans call the investigation into his alleged ties to the Russian government and whether alleged cooperation helped him win the 2016 presidential election. The Times and the Washington Post share a Pulitzer Prize on their reporting on the story.
While a special counsel investigation led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller did find the Russian government interfered in the election, any conspiracy or collusion was not proven.
All of this — at least according to Musk — means the Times screwed up their reporting … and, he taunts them here, saying they may have to give their Pulitzer back. Trump has filed a pending defamation lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize Board.
As we told you … Musk is stepping away from DOGE because his scheduled time with the government is coming to an end. He added, “The @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.”

Timothy Busfield’s Accuser’s Mom I’ll Have His Ass!!!
Published
A former crew member of Timothy Busfield on the set of “The Cleaning Lady” is coming to his defense … slamming accusations the director sexually abused two child actors and claiming the kids’ mother vowed to have TB’s ass!
According to new court documents, obtained by TMZ, Christopher Ford — a veteran Hollywood security guard — says he attended a lunch in Corrales, New Mexico, after filming Season 3 of “The Cleaning Lady” in March or April 2024 — and the mother of the two boys was present.
Ford claims the mom got pissed while discussing whether her kids would return to the show, saying she would “get Timothy Busfield” and “have his ass” if her boys were not brought back for the next season. Ford confirms he personally heard the remark, claiming it was made before any formal complaint of inappropriate conduct had been filed with the authorities.
Police say Busfield replaced the two boys with a younger boy who had auditioned.
In addition, Ford says the children’s parents were always present whenever their kids were working … and says he observed the dad frequently encouraging them to hug people on set, including Busfield, in full view of others.
Ford also says he never witnessed Busfield alone with the children, adding there was “no realistic opportunity” for private contact because other people were always visible or in earshot. Ford goes on to say all interactions between Busfield and the child actors took place in open areas of the set, surrounded by cast, crew, and parents.
As we reported … Busfield surrendered to Albuquerque police last week after a warrant was issued for his arrest, claiming he sexually abused the two children on the set of “The Cleaning Lady.” Prosecutors charged Busfield with 2 counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.
According to court documents filed Monday, the 2 child actors accusing Busfield of inappropriately touching them initially told police the exact opposite in audio recordings of police interviews in November 2024.
Prosecutors state the boys only revealed the alleged abuse after they underwent therapy sessions in September 2025 — with one of the boys telling his counselor Busfield had touched his penis and bottom.
Busfield has denied all allegations and is currently being held without bond. His legal team says he passed an independent lie detector test related to the accusations and claims a Warner Bros. internal investigation found no evidence of misconduct.

Some say Cardi is too over the top in her support for Diggs, but Douglas — who secured a touchdown in Sunday’s game — appreciates all the love she’s showing the squad.
“That is tough,” Douglas said, complimenting Cardi’s enthusiasm.
“That’s my boy’s girl, and it’s amazing to have her cheering for us and having Stef and her together making it big.”
He also praised Diggs’ leadership in the locker room … saying it’s a blessing to be the NFL vet’s teammate with all the knowledge he’s dropping on the younger guys.
“One thing about him, he does not let up, like, he’s gonna let you know if you slackin’ or he feels like you not playing up to par, and that’s what you need,” Douglas said.
“I feel like that’s what keeps us going.”
The Pats’ receiving core will need that same energy this Sunday when they take on a tough Denver Broncos defense at Empower Field at Mile High — just one win away from Super Bowl LX.
Things are good off the field, too — Douglas told us about his new partnership with Avery’s Soda, a company that loved his “Pop” nickname and figured it was a match made in heaven!!
