Richemont’s British luxury men’s fashion house Dunhill has “crafted the exquisite looks” for the lead actors in the spy movie Black Bag, which releases in UK cinemas Friday (14 March).
The Steven Soderbergh-directed movie, which stars Michael Fassbender, Tom Burke, Regé-Jean Page and Pierce Brosnan, showcases “the tailoring excellence of the house”.
Dunhill creative director Simon Holloway worked with the film’s costume designer Ellen Mirojnick to conceive a selection “of sophisticated and precisely tailored outfits that sartorially reflect the personas of the film’s main protagonists”.
That includes “tailored jackets, sublime knitwear pieces, crisp shirts and trousers, alongside signature items of haberdashery – hand-printed silk ties and pocket squares”.
Contributing the majority of key looks for the ensemble wardrobe of Black Bag “further reinforces the House’s longstanding connection to film”, having recently partnered with BAFTA a two-year partnership that will “accelerate [the] careers of creative talent through BAFTA Elevate”.
The film and TV arts charity’s flagship talent programme aims to help the careers of “up to 20 mid-senior level creatives making documentary and specialist factual television and feature films”. It will focus on those currently held back, perhaps by coming from a disadvantaged social background.
