Opening Day is still a few weeks away, but President Donald Trump threw one high and tight Friday night … torching baseball for not enshrining the late legend Pete Rose in Cooperstown!
POTUS, a big baseball fan, unloaded on MLB leadership and HOF voters, blasting commish Rob Manfred (although not by name) and writers for keeping the all-time hit leader out of the Hall, even in death.
“Major League Baseball didn’t have the courage or decency to put the late, great, Pete Rose, also known as ‘Charlie Hustle,’ into the Baseball Hall of Fame,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Now he is dead, will never experience the thrill of being selected, even though he was a FAR BETTER PLAYER than most who made it, and can only be named posthumously. WHAT A SHAME!”
DT’s not wrong about Rose being better than most in Cooperstown (and that’s saying a lot!). The Cincinnati Reds legend was one of the very greatest to grace a diamond.
47 continued, promising to wipe the slate clean for Rose … after he was convicted of failing to report income he earned from signing autographs, a felony, in 1990.
“Anyway, over the next few weeks I will be signing a complete PARDON of Pete Rose, who shouldn’t have been gambling on baseball, but only ever on HIS TEAM WINNING. He never bet against himself, or the other team.”
The president ended his diatribe by highlighting a few of Pete’s career achievements and with a warning for baseball.
“He had the most hits, by far, in baseball history, and won more games than anyone in sports history. Baseball, which is dying all over the place, should get off its fat, lazy ass, and elect Pete Rose, even though it’s far too late, into the Baseball Hall of Fame.”
Rose was permanently banned from Major League Baseball in 1989 after an investigation concluded he wagered on baseball (which he later admitted to), leaving him ineligible for the Hall.
Despite pressure over the years from fans and people like Trump (who previously spoke out for Pete), MLB hasn’t budged on their stance.
The 17x All-Star, 3x World Series Champ, and National League Most Valuable Player died in September at the age of 83.

L.A. Home Burglarized, Safe Stolen!!!

Marshmello has felt “Happier” than he does right now … ’cause cops say thieves broke into his Los Angeles home earlier this week.
We’re told Marshmello’s security came to his crib Thursday afternoon and found the house ransacked … and when they watched the security system video, they saw the hit went down Tuesday.
Law enforcement tells TMZ the burglars made off with a safe. The LAPD responded and took a burglary report.

When he gets back into town, the DJ and music producer will have to tell the cops whatever was in the safe, and the value of each item.
We’re told no arrests have been made so far, and the investigation is ongoing. We’ve reached out to Marshmello’s camp … so far, we haven’t heard back.
This is not Marshmello’s first time being a theft victim — his truck was stolen back in 2020.

FBI Director Kash Patel wants UFC fighters to train his Agents … and well there’s one that is totally down! 🙋🏽 Justin Gaethje.
TMZ Sports spoke to 36-year-old Gaethje, who at the moment is a little tied up preparing for his co-main event scrap with Rafael Fiziev, who was plugged in for an injured Dan Hooker this week.
After the March 8 scrap in Las Vegas, the lightweight contender is down to help the country’s top law enforcement agency in any way he can … training personnel, or just kickin’ the ass himself.
“I think there’s much more skilled people but I got no kids, no wife. So if [FBI Director Kash Patel] needs somebody to go out there and serve some justice, I would love to be part of that team.”
Of course, Kash made headlines on Thursday when he told the 55 FBI Field Offices he wanted to ink a deal with Dana White‘s Ultimate Fighting Championship … where competitors (or potentially coaches) from the top MMA promotion would train Special Agents.
It’s not at all far-fetched. Law enforcement agencies across the country often partner with martial artists to improve officers’ hand-to-hand fighting proficiency.
Bottom line, Gaethje is willing to help however the director sees fit.
“I would love to be part of any part of that. I love representing this country. I can’t wait to fly this flag, walk into the Octagon. It’s been a while since I’ve been proud to be an American and we’re back there. I’m excited to represent this country.”
“Anytime anybody at that position needs my help, I’m more than willing.”
