Dior has announced American music artist 070 Shake as the maison’s new ambassador for Jonathan Anderson’s collections.

A singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her atmospheric, genre-blurring sound, 070 Shake, born Danielle Balbuena, got her musical break via the New Jersey collective 070, before gaining wider recognition through her standout features on Kanye West’s “Ye” and Pusha T’s “Daytona”.
The “Escapism” artist’s work blends hip-hop, alternative R&B, and electronic influences, often exploring themes of identity, vulnerability, and transformation. Her music is characterized by moody synths, layered vocals, and a distinctive tone that blurs musical genres.
“Unique and visionary, the American singer, songwriter, and producer has established herself as one of today’s most magnetic voices, at the convergence of rap and alternative pop. From “Modus Vivendi” to “Petrichor, 070 Shake’s albums constantly push the boundaries of sound and emotion, asserting an aesthetic at once avant-garde and empathetic,” said Dior, in a press release.

070 Shake joins a bevy of new ambassador recruits at Anderson’s new Dior, including Mia Goth and Greta Lee.
Next year, Anderson has chosen Los Angeles to be the venue of his first ever cruise show for the house of Dior. The show will take place in May 13.
