Todd Bridges and his wife are officially going different ways because he just filed for divorce … TMZ has confirmed.
The “Diff’rent Strokes” star beelined it to court Tuesday in Arizona and filed to divorce his wife, Bettijo B. Hirschi, after 3 years of marriage … according to online records.
Todd’s filing comes a little less than three months after we first reported their separation.
According to legal docs, obtained by PEOPLE, Todd claims the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” and neither he nor Bettijo is requesting spousal support.
Todd and Bettijo got hitched in September 2022, having a low-key Beverly Hills ceremony with about 70 guests … and they did not have any children during the marriage.
The estranged couple met on a dating app nine months before their wedding, quickly hitting it off and getting engaged about six months later.
This was Todd’s second marriage … he was previously married to Dori Bridges from 1998 to 2012.
