A piece of Major League Baseball history is up for grabs — the baseball from the final out of the 2024 World Series … and it may be a long time before an item like this hits the open market again!!

Harlan Werner — the CEO of the Memorabilia Network — gave TMZ Sports an up-close look at the special item before bidding goes live on April 5 … and he explained why similar balls hardly come around.

“To say that someone’s not going to have an opportunity to buy the last out of the World Series, I believe will not happen again in my lifetime,” he said. “Either the team is going to keep it, or it’s just not going to happen. This is a very, very, very unique situation.”

“Someone that might be looking to donate a tremendous amount of money to the city now has a chance to write a very large check and get an incredible item,” he said.

“Smallville” star Erica Durance has a new Clark Kent in her life … because she’s dating a new man after officially closing the book on her marriage.

A rep for Erica, who played Lois Lane on the superhero TV show, tells TMZ … she finalized her divorce from actor David Palffy in 2024 and is now in a new relationship.

When we first reported on Erica and David’s separation in 2023, it was unclear when they had separated … but now her rep says they split in 2022.

While Erica’s rep confirmed she is dating someone and in a “great relationship”, we were told Erica wants to keep her relationship private. It is unclear who the mystery man is, how long they have been together or how they met.

Erica and David began dating in 2001 and had been married for almost 20 years. They divorced in Canada, so there’s not a lot of information on their split.

Erica’s now been married and divorced twice … and it will be interesting to see if she gets hitched a third time.

WWE legend Mick Foley says he suffered a minor concussion in a terrifying car accident on Tuesday … admitting he has “no idea how I am still walking around” after the wreck.

The 59-year-old posted a picture from the scene to his Instagram … showing him posing by an absolutely mangled vehicle with a fire truck and police cruiser off in the distance.

Foley says he has since checked himself into a hospital … and he’s sore from his knees to his neck.

His comment section was flooded with well-wishes … with fans and coworkers sharing relief that the experience wasn’t worse for the beloved wrestler.

Considering the date on the calendar, there were also some users expressing speculation it may have been an extreme April Fools’ Day joke … but it seems this would be too serious of a subject to kid about — and the post has been up for hours without any “gotcha” follow-up.

Foley was known to put his body on the line in the squared circle … proving he’s tough as nails throughout his career.
