Sounds like Daniel Stern didn’t want to be home alone … because cops issued him a citation for allegedly trying to hire an escort.

The “Home Alone” star got busted in Camarillo, California after cops said he was trying to bust with the aid of some hired help.

Law enforcement in Ventura County tells us Daniel was cited for soliciting prostitution on Dec. 10 … which is smack in the middle of the Christmas season, when his ‘Home Alone’ movies typically doing big streaming numbers.

According to police docs obtained by TMZ, it looks like Daniel was cited at a hotel in Camarillo, California.

Sorry, folks, no mug shot for lonely ol’ Daniel here … police tell us he wasn’t booked and was just given a ticket.

Daniel’s had a few notable incidents in Ventura County — about an hour northwest of Los Angeles — in recent months … as we first reported, he was rushed to the hospital back in October after the Ventura County Fire Department responded to a residence in Somis for a medical emergency.

If the solicitation allegation is true, seems Daniel was trying to take the Wet and Sticky Bandit thing too far.

The Pennsylvania man who allegedly stole more than 100 skeletal remains from gravesites wasn’t exactly a criminal mastermind … at least according to prosecutors.

New legal docs, obtained by TMZ, shed light on how Jonathan Gerlach allegedly went about sloppily turning his Pennsylvania home into a haunted house.

Prosecutors allege Gerlach left behind tons of evidence of his crimes … they found cigarettes, Monster Energy, Liquid Death and NOS Energy cans in the crypts he allegedly burglarized … and he used his Ace Hardware Rewards Card to pay for some of the tools he used to break into the graves.

Cops say they searched Gerlach’s home in Ephrata, PA, and discovered 100 sets of full or partial human remains in his basement.

In the docs, prosecutors say Gerlach targeted four underground vaults at one cemetery, Mount Moriah, gaining entry by moving huge slabs made of heavy stone and marble.

Prosecutors say Gerlach left behind cigarettes and energy drinks next to a plastic tarp containing human remains that was discovered just outside of a mausoleum.

Another time, prosecutors allege Gerlach left behind cigarette butts, Liquid Death and NOS Energy drinks. So much for covering up those tracks.

Prosecutors say that in November cops were called to a cemetery where a mausoleum had been robbed … the marble flooring inside was destroyed and inside they found a white, nylon rope with a carabiner still attached, positioned as if the robber rappelled 10-feet down into the crypt.

Tension sure seemed to flare up at one of “Members Only: Palm Beach” star Taja Abitbol’s parties, with Gale Brophy telling TMZ she was asked to leave under heated circumstances.

Gale hopped on TMZ’s “Previously On…” podcast to share her side of the story and stop what she called rumors … denying any chance of her being drunk and claiming she was bullied while being “manhandled” out of the event.

In video TMZ obtained from Taja’s party back in December … Gale appears to be walking out of Taja’s event, escorted by a group of security guards — pausing to address the camera and asking the guards to keep their hands off of her.

Gale also claims the incident was serious enough that she could pursue legal action, including alleged elder abuse — but for now, Gale says she’s speaking out to set the record straight.
