David Geffen To Estranged Husband You Used Me For My Money … I Didn’t Promise It to You!!!

David Geffen is firing back at his estranged husband … he says the guy’s claims that Geffen promised to financially support him for life are bogus and a textbook shakedown attempt.
The billionaire just responded to a lawsuit filed by his estranged husband, David Andrew Armstrong (AKA Donovan Michaels) … and Geffen flat out denies ever making assurances to take care of Armstrong financially for the rest of his life.
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Geffen says Armstrong’s claims are ludicrous and part of a contrived attempt to humiliate Geffen in public and extract a financial settlement.
Geffen says it’s clearly a shakedown but insists it won’t work. He says during their relationship, he was happy to provide Armstrong with anything he asked for, putting him up in his own apartment in New York and giving him “nearly unlimited spending money.”
But Geffen says he never promised to share ownership of any assets with Armstrong or provide him with life-long financial support if they ever separated.
TMZ broke the story … Geffen and Armstrong did not have a prenup when Geffen filed for divorce in May after less than 2 years of marriage. Forbes says Geffen is worth $8.8B but he’s been retired for 15 years, and our understanding is he has no income other than investments, including property sales and dividends from stocks and equities he mostly acquired long before he met Armstrong. Any assets he got before they married would be Geffen’s separate property.

These docs are a response to the separate civil lawsuit Armstrong filed against Geffen in July, claiming Geffen promised him they would share all earnings and accumulated property equally. He also claimed Geffen told him he would financially support him for life.
Geffen says his written estate plan makes it clear that was never his intention … and flat out insists there were no such promises made to Armstrong.
Geffen’s attorney Patty Glaser filed the response … and we’re told Geffen’s divorce attorney, disso queenLaura Wasser, brought Patty on for the civil case.
In the docs, Geffen says Armstrong was treated like a king when they were together and Armstrong used his money to buy expensive clothes, get cosmetic procedures, and go on extravagant trips with his friends … taking advantage of Geffen’s “good nature and generosity.”
Geffen claims Armstrong spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on OnlyFans subscriptions and male prostitutes towards the end of their marriage … and says the guy was happy to spend Geffen’s money on himself and his friends, while only feigning interest in Geffen.
What’s more … Geffen says Armstrong was hiding illicit drug use from him — regularly using ketamine and cocaine — and claims the drug habit continued even after Geffen paid for him to get treatment.
Geffen says he ended the relationship as Armstrong’s “facade of a loving, devoted husband began to crumble” and he discovered the extent of his ex’s “betrayal, dishonesty and outright fraud.” He says he was faced with the reality that the man he loved was not a true partner but had used him for a life of excess shared with others … and decided to end things.
In the docs, Geffen claims Armstrong is still living rent-free in one of his luxury New York apartments and gets monthly payments from him … but he says Armstrong is turning what should have been a simple divorce into a “public spectacle.”
Jeff Garcia — the beloved voice actor who appeared on many popular 2000s shows — has died … TMZ has learned.
Multiple family members tell TMZ … the comedian and actor was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning after he was taken off life support Tuesday night at a Southern California hospital while surrounded by family and friends.
We’re told Jeff’s was dealing with multiple medical complications in the months before his death … suffering a brain aneurysm back in the spring during which he fell and hit his head. He recovered from the aneurysm, but our sources say he suffered a stroke several weeks ago.
Our sources say Jeff canceled multiple shows recently because he wasn’t feeling well … which wasn’t like him at all, but he didn’t go to the hospital, believing he’d be fine without treatment.
We broke the story … sources told us Jeff had previously been hospitalized around November 20 with pneumonia. He recovered enough to be discharged, but his health took another turn in recent weeks. On Monday, he went to the hospital with difficulty breathing and on Tuesday, his lung collapsed.
Jeff might not be a household name, but his voice will certainly be familiar to many … with the actor first grabbing notice with his iconic voiceover work in the “Jimmy Neutron” franchise — bringing fan-favorite Sheen Estevez to life in the 2001 film “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and in 59 episodes of “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.”
Sheen proved so popular, Garcia starred in his own-spinoff show titled “Planet Sheen” … which ran for 26 episodes beginning in 2010.
Among his other credits … the movie “Barnyard” and its accompanying TV series “Back at the Barnyard”; both “Happy Feet” movies; “Marmaduke”; both “Rio” movies; and the live-action sitcom “Mr. Box Office,” just to name a few.

We caught up with Jeff back in 2012 … and he wasn’t afraid to weigh in on Ashton Kutcher‘s shocking Popchips brownface commercial.
Outside the film and TV world, Jeff built a career as a standup comic … performing regularly and even appearing onstage in early November, just weeks before his hospitalization.
Sharon Osbourne got visibly emotional … opening up about the last thing Ozzy ever said to her before he passed in July.
Chatting on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” Wednesday, Sharon said Ozzy woke her up at 4:30 AM before he died and told her, “Kiss me, hug me tight”… and she had to stop for a sec during the interview to pull herself together as her eyes welled up with tears.
Sharon said Ozzy then went to work out for about 20 minutes … before suffering a heart attack and passing away — and she only found out after rushing downstairs when she heard people screaming while he was being resuscitated.
Sharon said she told the responders to leave him — she knew instantly he was gone — but they still airlifted him out and tried everything to save him, though it was already too late.
Ozzy died unexpectedly on July 22, and his cause of death was later listed as a heart attack. His death certificate also cited coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s as contributing factors.
