Andrew Wolfe — one of the two National Guard members shot the day before Thanksgiving in Washington, D.C. — is recovering well … according to the West Virginia governor.

Governor Patrick Morrisey provided the update via his website Friday … revealing he’s been in contact with the family — and, they “report that his head wound is slowly healing and that he’s beginning to ‘look more like himself.'”

The governor stated Andy will likely be in acute care for at least a couple more weeks … but, the family’s full of optimism after the tragic attack.

ICYMI … Wolfe’s condition immediately after the shooting was uncertain — with his mother, Melody, stating in a Facebook post on Thanksgiving that “The first two weeks will be a waiting game. Right now he’s surviving and alive. We got to see him in ICU and he’s sedated. It feels like a nightmare and this doesn’t feel real.”

As you know … Wolfe and Sarah Beckstrom were both shot last month while patrolling D.C. Their fellow soldiers in the National Guard returned fire with the shooter in a harrowing video shared to social media, while Wolfe and Beckstrom were rushed to the hospital. Beckstrom passed away the day after the shooting.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting. He pled not guilty to the charges against him earlier this week.

Blueface‘s features may have taken on a purple glow after he let Ryan Garcia punch him … because he was having some trouble breathing in a wild new vid.

The boxer livestreamed his hang with the rapper Friday night … and, just 15 minutes into the stream, the duo engaged in an age-old guy tradition — one dude punching another as hard as possible.

Blueface asked if Garcia wanted to throw a haymaker at him … and Garcia accepted — though BF wore protective gear over his stomach to lessen the blow.

The two then lined up across from one another. Blueface pulled up his arms and Garcia uncorked a vicious blow to his side … which didn’t knock Blue down, but certainly put him out of commission for a couple of minutes.

Blueface, doubled over in pain, told the crew to cut the camera … and, he certainly didn’t want to try a second punch. He still sat around and hung out with the boys after withstanding the brutal beating, though.

BTW … if you don’t recognize Ryan in this clip, it’s probably because of the face tattoos. They appear to be temporary tats he got in honor of Blue which match the rapper’s own.

We’ve got shocking new details regarding the potential origins of the apartment fire that sent soul singer and former Prince collaborator Alexander O’Neal to the hospital early Friday morning.

The musician’s wife, Cynthia, tells TMZ … she recalls being woken up to Alexander frantically alerting her about a fire “with his arms in the air,” which is when she noticed “a bubble of fire” in the cord attached to his oxygen machine. He was on oxygen because he had just been released from the ICU hours before, following a nearly 2-week stay.

Cynthia says she noticed a separate fire on the floor that Alexander had tried stomping out with his bare foot and burned himself doing so. That blaze grew to the mattress, and that’s when they decided to leave their residence and call 911.

We told you all about the catastrophe … Cynthia and Alexander — who was tapped as the lead singer of Prince’s band The Time in 1980 before ultimately being let go — were both hospitalized as a result of the violent blaze that sprang up just after 1 AM. Cynthia tells us she was released swiftly, while Alexander was kept longer as tests were run on his lungs.

Cynthia recalls returning to their apartment complex in Burnsville, Minnesota for Alexander’s various medications to see the place totally destroyed and the bottles melted. She tells TMZ … “The whole place is totally demolished. There was nothing left. There was water up to my ankles.”

A rep for the city confirmed to TMZ the fire destroyed 4 units, making them unlivable. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Alexander was released from the hospital later on Friday, and they are now both seeking refuge at a family member’s home as they plan their next move. Cindy has stayed positive about the devastating experience, noting … “We are so happy to be alive. We may not have a toothbrush, but we have a car! Our spirits remain good and we are moving forward.”
