Downed U.S. Fighter Jet One Crew Member Rescued In Iran As Search Continues For Second Member

Huge update with the U.S. fighter jet that was shot down over Iran … one of the two crew members has been rescued by U.S. special forces.
The search for the other crew member is still ongoing … Axios reports, citing an Israeli official and a second source.
It looks like a large military plane, and a couple helicopters are involved in search efforts.
As we reported … Iranian state media published pictures Friday, allegedly showing the debris from the crash.
Iranian state media is claiming the U.S. fighter jet was downed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. There are conflicting reports about whether the plane was an F-15 or F-35 aircraft.
In one photo, there’s a partial logo that reads “U.S. Air Forces in Europe” … and CNN reporter Paula Hancocks says that typically appears on the tailfin of an F-15.
There’s another photo floating around the internet that appears to show a possibly ejected seat … but there has been no confirmation it’s from the downed fighter jet.
The war in Iran has been raging for five weeks, and this is the first U.S. fighter jet shot down.
