Columbia Sportswear Company announced in its newly released 2024 Impact Report that it has exceeded 80% of its Planet Water goal to provide access to clean water for 100,000 people per day.

The report reflects progress across Columbia’s four primary brands—Columbia, Sorel, Mountain Hardwear, and Prana—and highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to its corporate responsibility pillars.
The report also underscores how employees contributed more than 6,100 volunteer hours to local communities, and Mountain Hardwear was recognized as Corporate Partner of the Year by Leave No Trace, in 2024.
Likewise, Columbia Sportswear Company reported significant reductions in energy consumption at its Oregon distribution center and headquarters, with absolute energy use dropping by more than 900,000 kilowatt hours and nearly 67,000 therms from 2022 to 2024.
Lastly, on a global scale, the company continued to advance worker well-being initiatives through its support of the Rise program, which reached over 425 workplaces and impacted more than 375,000 workers including 65% of whom are women.
