Multi-brand luxury store Carma has set up shop in Mumbai’s Fort neighbourhood to bring a curated selection of Desi designers to the metro’s shoppers.

Conceptualised to mix heritage with contemporary design, the South Mumbai boutique presents a selection of luxury women’s traditional and occasion wear and marks a “significant milestone” for Carma, the business announced in a press release. Brands which feature in the new store include Varun Bahl, Puneet Kapoor, Label Ankita, Nidhika Shekhar, Drishti Chhabra, Mithi Supari, Devkalii, Ivory by Dipika, Vrinda by Pundrik, Ease, Asma Husain, Sainy Garg, Jiviva, Kashmiraa, and Kajol Goyal.
Carma counts stores in New Delhi and Hyderabad and was established in 1986. The business’ stores offer personalised consultations as well as digital integration through virtual appointments and assisted shopping. By launching in Mumbai, Carma aims to connect with a new customer base in the popular shopping area of Fort.

“The new space blends Carma’s signature elegance with South Mumbai’s colonial charm- arched interiors, expansive glass façades, and a refined, immersive backdrop for couture and craft,” announced the business. Located on the ground floor of the Sir Vithaldas Chambers building, the store also features seating areas and statement gold chandeliers.
