British lingerie, nightwear and swimwear brand Boux Avenue is certainly making the most of rocketing sales, opening a “huge” new flagship store in Manchester’s Trafford Centre this autumn.

How huge? Bigger than the recent 2,765 sq ft store opened in Manchester Arndale last month,“almost doubling our space with this new unit,” according to chief operating officer Alex Paphitis.

“This comes off the back of a significantly strong sales performance over the past 18 months, not only in our stores, but also in our e-commerce channel and with our wholesale partners,” he added.

The upcoming Trafford Centre store will showcase a “clean and contemporary new shopfit for the brand, befitting its status as its new flagship store”.

The unit will include “luxurious” fitting rooms – complete with concierge buttons and bespoke lighting options – “in which customers can try on their favourite items and enjoy one nof the brand’s renowned expert bra fittings”, offering an inclusive size range up to an H-cup, “all with an accessible price tag”.

Paphitis added: “As an ambitious business, we’re looking to grow and open further new store locations in key areas where we see demand is already high for the brand but where we do not as yet have a store presence.”

That said, it already has a presence in Manchester so the market is clearly an important one for the brand.
