There’s a new twist to the popularity of pop-ups. Taking the theme a fun step further, Boots is about to throw a three-day “Ultimate Beauty House Party” on Soho’s Bateman Street (10-12 October).
The free event aims to immerse beauty lovers in the retailer’s “best beauty it has to offer” while featuring interactive experiences including a scent-shower, bath-tub lucky dip, charm station and makeovers. And with the party season on the horizon, different rooms will be used for the all-important getting ready routine.
Its dressing room format comes with a creative charm-station as well as beauty confessionals for guests to share their beauty secrets.
Other highlights include the bedroom, where professional make-up artists will share their best tips and tricks, courtesy of cosmetics brand Sacheu. There will also be hairstyling on offer from GHD.
Of course, the space will also showcase the vast range of beauty brands and products available at Boots, “from cult classics to new and trending viral products and the best of K Beauty”.
Visitors will be able to share their final look with the domed-mirror selfie wall before finishing up in the kitchen, featuring the Beau-Tea Bar, where they can enjoy a complimentary Boots Bubble Tea. And on departure, visitors will be gifted a beauty goody bag said to be worth over £100.
Alice Rafferty, director of Luxury Beauty and Cosmetics at Boots UK, said: “This immersive experience brings together the very best of Boots beauty with fun elements we know our ‘partygoers’ will adore. It’s a dynamic space designed for beauty lovers to create, imagine, test, and discover new favourites.”
