Strong field includes nine of the world’s top 25
A field of 133 players will compete for a $9.1 million purse, including nine ranked inside the world’s top 25. Xander Schauffele (No. 7), Justin Thomas (No. 14), and Matt Fitzpatrick (No. 15) all arrive after top‑10 finishes at last week’s PLAYERS Championship. Defending champion Viktor Hovland (No. 18) returns after winning the 2025 event with four birdies on the back nine. Rising stars Jacob Bridgeman (No. 20) and Akshay Bhatia (No. 22) also headline the field.
