Bank & Vogue (best known at the parent company of Beyond Retro) has partnered with Coach to introduce a collection of luxury bags made from textiles that were once destined for landfill.
They said the collab “merges heritage craftsmanship with a commitment to circular fashion, reinforcing Coach’s dedication to reducing its environmental impact”.
The pieces are available now at select Coach stores and online.
The new collection features a series of limited-edition bags, each reimagined from repurposed materials, “showcasing the beauty of upcycled denim and leather”.
Bank & Vogue said the “standout pieces highlight how secondhand textiles can be transformed into high-end, timeless accessories while championing conscious consumption”.
The collection includes a Cargo Tote Bag With Patchwork at £395, a Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Patchwork Quilting at £650, and a Rogue Patchwork Denim Top-Handle Bag at £730.
Coming together in this way may seem like something of a no-brainer for the two companies given Bank & Vogue’s ability to keep large amounts of clothing out of landfill via its powerful position in the vintage market, and Coach’s already-well-established commitment to circularity through its Coachtopia line.
Coachtopia launched almost two years ago with Coach creating the Gen Z-focused bags line that’s priced a little below its regular offer and that makes the most of waste materials.
