Fresh from news of an upgrade to its digital aspirations, UK fashion brand Couture Club has now introduced its first-ever footwear, the Axis Sneaker.
Couture Club’s Axis Sneaker
Tagged as being “born from the raw energy of skate culture”, the Axis Sneaker is a “classic skater silhouette, reimagined”.
Ross Worswick, co-founder and creative director of The Couture Club, said at pre-launch: “We wanted to create something that felt familiar, but completely redefined.
“The Axis takes cues from classic skate silhouettes we all grew up around, but through our own lens — cleaner, sharper, more elevated. It’s about bringing that everyday wearability into a space that still feels premium.”
To celebrate the “milestone footwear launch”, last weekend saw Couture Club transform the Manchester Social into the CC-Social offering a preview of the soon-to-be released collections with exclusive offers in a MCR Social collaboration.
It included a special limited-edition run of the sneaker reimagined by footwear designer/creator Jordan Watkins, available exclusively at the Manchester pop-up.
The complete range will be available at Flannels and Selfridges from mid-December.
Last month, the Manchester-based brand appointed fashion SEO specialist Verde Digital to strengthen its e-presence as part of a push to “accelerate growth across existing and new product ranges”.
The partnership will see Verde Digital deliver on-page and technical SEO support, with a focus on “building visibility for The Couture Club’s core Collection pages as well as new clothing line launches”.
