2025 was a big year for premium brand Arne as it entered physical retail for the first time. It was also one in which turnover and profits both rose.

And 2026 continues to be full of activity with new long-term pop-ups about to open.

But first the results. Turnover at the eight-year-old British brand increased from £84.14 million to £94.59 million last year and gross profit increased to £50.9 million from £43.7 million. The gross profit margin rose to 54% from 52% and adjusted EBITDA increased to £14.3 million from £11.8 million. That increase of 21% was driven by the turnover growth and the success of operational efficiencies that enabled it to absorb inflationary pressures in both the cost of goods and staff.

The company was expanding during the year and also increased its headcount to 170 people from 133 at the end of 2024. That was despite the relocation of its fulfilment centre to a third-party logistics provider.

It said that stock levels also increased to £12.1 million from £11.3 million driven by range expansion and further investment into womenswear and footwear.

And it added that it has continued to perform well into this year with the board confident that its growth turnover, profitability and market share will continue “for the foreseeable future”.

The company plans to continue its expansion into new markets with further investment in new menswear ranges, in womenswear and in its physical retail presence throughout the UK.

As mentioned, last year saw the company moving from being digital-only to opening its first physical store in the UK, at Liverpool One. It also opened a Christmas pop-up on London’s Carnaby Street and this year opened a permanent store on Manchester’s New Cathedral Street.

And it’s opening more pop-ups too. On 10 October it will unveil a six-month temporary store at the Bluewater mall in Kent “as a well overdue visit to that part of the country after years of requests”.

And the following week will see a similar pop-up opening at Westfield Stratford.
