Amanda Marie Green raises more than $100K in first quarter of 2026

Amanda Marie Green, a Democrat hoping to win an open Panhandle congressional seat, raised over $102,000 in the second quarter. This made her the top Democratic fundraiser among those running to replace retiring U.S. Rep. Neal Dunn.

“To build this kind of momentum in just 30 days speaks volumes about the strength of our campaign and the people behind it,” Green said.

Her total fundraising now stands at just under $205,000.

She pointed out that she achieved this while being full-term pregnant for part of the fundraising quarter and then giving birth, which affected her ability to campaign.

“I stepped away briefly to welcome my son into the world, and I came back even more committed to fighting for families across this district,” Green said.

She also received important endorsements, including from former U.S. Rep. Allen Boyd, who previously represented Florida’s 2nd Congressional District. Green is also supported by former U.S. Reps. John Barrow and Patrick Murphy, Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeilJeannie BoydDon Hinkle, and Mimi Graham.

Her campaign also highlighted careful spending, which left her with $95,000 in cash on hand at the end of March.

“This campaign is powered by real people who want to see change,” Green said. “As we head into the next quarter, we are expanding our reach, growing our coalition, and continuing to meet voters where they are. We are building something that lasts rooted in a shared belief that District 2 deserves better. This is just the beginning.”

In comparison, Democrat Nic Zateslo raised over $80,000 for the seat this quarter. His total fundraising is now more than $261,000, but he has just over $63,000 in cash left.

At press time, reports for Democrat Yen Bailey were not yet available.

Democrat Brice Barnes entered the race after the quarter began, so her report will not be available until after June. She has announced raising $100,000.
