Qatar Airways is defending its crew after they deposited a deceased passenger next to a couple for the final four hours of a flight from Melbourne, Australia to Doha, Qatar earlier this week.
As you know, the couple — Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin — claimed they were not offered new seats after a woman’s corpse was covered with a blanket and was placed in their row. Ring said he was simply asked to move over so the woman — who dropped dead near them — could occupy his seat.
In a statement obtained by TMZ, Qatar Airways says cabin crew “acted quickly, appropriately and professionally at all times in line with training and industry standard practice.”
The airline says crew members are trained to handle onboard deaths — which they describe as an “unfortunate reality” … “with as much respect and dignity as possible.”

Contrary to Ring and Colin’s telling, Qatar Airways says guests “were accommodated to other seats” and that a crew member sat next to the deceased passenger for the remainder of the flight.
Notably, Ring and Colin did not mention a crew member joining them in their row. Furthermore, Colin said she only changed rows after a fellow passenger encouraged her to sit with her.
Qatar says they have been “in direct contact with the family of the deceased” and offered passengers “directly affected” by the uncomfortable situation “emotional support and compensation.”
The airline did not respond to TMZ when asked how much guests would be compensated.
Ring and Colin eventually arrived at their final vacation destination in Italy after the morbid experience. They confirmed that while they were traumatized by the ordeal, they are hoping to enjoy their trip to the best of their ability.

Offset is making it crystal clear he wants to end his marriage to Cardi B — and he wants to make sure they share custody of their kids.
According to legal docs obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Offset is requesting joint legal custody of the 3 children he shares with Cardi … although he does say Cardi’s place should be the primary residence for the kids.
He’s also asking the court to lay out each parent’s child support obligations.
In addition, the ex-Migos rapper is asking the court to divvy up the couple’s marital property, and thinks it’s appropriate they each pay their own lawyer fees.

Cardi filed for divorce back in August and — aside from the occasional holiday get-together — has continued to live separately from Offset.
Cardi’s been getting to know NFL star Stefon Diggs … while Offset’s been on the prowl with a couple models.

Going Through It After Jesus Guerrero Passed

Kylie Jenner‘s clearly having a difficult time ever since her pal and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero passed away … admitting she isn’t sleeping much and sharing a video of the two together.
The reality star turned mogul made a couple posts to her Instagram Story Friday … starting with a screengrab of a seven-hour phone call she had with Ariel — a makeup artist who was also pals with Jesus.
KJ admits she’s not sleeping well these days … but adds she loves and appreciates her friend Ariel.
Kylie then shared a video of her hanging out with Jesus … dancing around in what looks like the backseat of her car. The song “River” by Leon Bridges plays over the clip.
Kylie opened up about the massive loss on Instagram earlier this week … calling Guerrero a huge light in her life — and, she thanked him for always being there for her.
Jesus passed away over the weekend, his sister confirmed in a social media post. She called his death “sudden and unexpected,” but didn’t reveal the cause. He was 34.
We broke the story … Kylie is paying his funeral costs and other expenses — including paying for his body to be flown back to his hometown of Houston. Kylie’s sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian also posted heartfelt tributes to Jesus on Monday.
It’s only been a few days since his passing … and, it sounds like Kylie’s still has a heavy heart after her friend’s passing.

President Trump gave Volodymyr Zelensky the boot from the White House after their explosive argument in front of the world, TMZ has confirmed.
White House sources tell TMZ … President Trump asked his Ukrainian counterpart to leave after Trump and the two butted heads live on international TV in the Oval Office on Friday.
Moments later, FOX News journalist Jacqui Heinrich took to the airwaves and reported Trump’s delegation told him he had to go home, pronto!
Heinrich said Trump “felt disrespected” by Zelensky’s mannerisms during their fiery discussion over the Russia-Ukraine war.
Heinrich noted Trump was pissed about Zelensky’s shrugging and eye-rolling, as well as his lack of respect and appreciation for the help America has given his country, especially during their battle with Russia.
Trump invited Zelensky to the White House today to try to broker a deal for Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. But, their meeting quickly devolved into a shouting match over the war that has claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Russian and Ukrainian people.
After their disastrous sit-down, Trump jumped on his Truth Social platform and wrote that Zelensky is not ready for peace. Trump added Zelensky can only return to the White House when he wants peace.
Zelenskyy then posted to X that he was thankful for the support of the United States, namely “POTUS, Congress and the American people.”
This all comes a week after Trump called Zelensky a “dictator” and blamed Ukraine for starting the war with Russia … when, in fact, this week marks the 3-year anniversary of Russia launching its invasion of Ukraine.
By the way, Heinrich reported that Trump was supposed to have lunch with Zelensky after their chat today — but it got canceled and the press corps ended up eating the meal.
