The funding round was led by Footwork, with participation from Liquid 2, Parable Ventures, 43 and others. The round brings the company’s total funding to roughly $10 million and will support product expansion, team growth, and international scaling.

Onton has built a neurosymbolic AI-powered search platform designed to deliver highly accurate, transparent results. Instead of relying on keyword matching or ads-driven ranking, the system learns continuously from each search and consolidates information from across the web into a single product listing.

Users can search using natural language, images, or both, and can experiment with creative tools like Imagine and Surfaces to generate product ideas and see shoppable versions instantly.

Onton reports that its conversion rate is currently three times higher than the industry average, with more than 20% of users returning weekly, and over 1 million monthly active users.

“We are building the future of decision making online,” said Zach Hudson, CEO and co-founder of Onton. “People deserve a way to shop that feels intelligent, transparent, and effortless. Onton is designed to remove the friction that slows everyone down and to give users absolute confidence in their choices.”

Looking ahead, Onton plans to move beyond home decor and furniture into categories such as apparel and electronics. The company is also refining its knowledge graph, expanding its data pipeline, and developing a customizable search engine that adapts to individual shoppers.
