The British fashion/lifestyle brand’s been a resident at the city mall for 20 years as a concession within Selfridges so it was high time to upgrade into a new standalone store, scheduled for a March 2026 opening.
The new 5,600 sq ft (including 4,000 sq ft of trading space) store will be located on Lower Regent Crescent, just off the Main Dome, “showcasing a wider product offering and a new, elevated customer experience”.
It will become retailer’s fourth store to open within a shopping centre and the largest store since Bluewater, Kent, and Westfield London, taking its total count to 79 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Kelly Clarke, chief people & retail officer at The White Company said: “Trafford’s unique retail offering, coupled with our previous success in Selfridges, was a key factor in our decision to bring The White Company to the centre – it is the perfect home for the brand to showcase our collections.
“This opening cements our continued commitment to investing in bricks and mortar on the UK high street.”
