Shawn Mendes looks like he may have a new woman in his life — and she’s beautiful — because he was just spotted in South America with Brazilian model and actress Bruna Marquezine.

The “Señorita” singer looks like he’s trying to duck the paps, but photogs got him following Bruna out of the restaurant and into a waiting car.

The dinner outing follows a string of public sightings down in Brazil, where Shawn’s been hanging out … there’s also video floating around social media appearing to show them going for a swim together at the beach.

Seems like things are going swimmingly between Shawn and Bruna … they were also spotted Tuesday at an airport in Brazil … and she had a furry friend with them.

“Survivor” Season 48 contestant Eva Erickson narrowly dodged the gunman who opened fire at Brown University Saturday afternoon, but she says she’s not overly worried about another shooting there.

Check out our interview — the Ph.D. candidate says she feels “safe” while hunkered down at her off-campus residence in Providence, Rhode Island because she assumes the assailant is “long gone,” reasoning … “Lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place.” On the other hand, she notes the idea is “horrible” because it feels like the shooter has gotten away.

There’s an intense manhunt for the gunman by local and federal authorities, and the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information in the ongoing case. Providence Mayor Brett Smiley told ABC News Monday authorities “continue to receive zero credible threats to our community, Brown or the broader community,” which he’s certainly caught some flack for as the suspect remains on the lam.

While Eva feels safe overall, she tells TMZ she and her peers have just as much information as the general public, and the lack of knowledge about the assailant has everyone “on edge.” She is pining for the answers to simple questions — how and how such a tragedy could have happened.

One thing she’s sure of — something needs to change. Eva says it’s “insane” students are so vulnerable to gun violence in America, noting … “I just wanted to go to school and learn and have this community and be safe. And now that’s been taken from me.” While she says she doesn’t have the answers, she looks at lawmakers who are better equipped to advocate for gun safety regulations.

Nick Reiner‘s attorney Alan Jackson is getting a close look at the crime scene where Nick’s parents — Rob and Michele — were stabbed to death … he’s just been spotted visiting the home where the couple’s bodies were found by their daughter Sunday.

Jackson was fresh from the courthouse, where Nick WASN’T seen today, because he didn’t have medical clearance to appear in court.

Watch the video … you can see Jackson march down the usually quiet road flanked by news crews, causing a commotion with his arrival. Jackson carries a file with him, which he uses to gesture to his team, possibly instructing them on their first moves.

As you know … Alan is one of the most well-known criminal defense attorneys out there, and he’s no stranger to high-profile cases like this one … he recently got Karen Read acquitted of murder in Massachusetts.

In a press conference Tuesday, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman came out swinging, saying the death penalty is on the table if Nick is convicted of murdering his parents.

As we reported … Nick was arrested on suspicion of killing his parents after they were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood, California home Sunday afternoon.

TMZ broke the story … Nick got into a heated argument with Rob at Conan O’Brien‘s Christmas party Saturday night, loud enough for others to overhear. Rob and Michele left the party after the fight.

Hours after the party, on Sunday afternoon, Rob and Michele’s daughter Romy discovered their stabbed and bloodied bodies at their Brentwood house. Rigor mortis had already set in, meaning they had been dead for hours.

Romy is the one who called the police and told them her brother Nick — who’d been living at the house — was “dangerous” and should be considered a suspect.

Despite living there, Nick wasn’t at home when Romy made the discovery. Instead, he had checked into The Pierside Hotel in Santa Monica around 4 AM Sunday, using his credit card.

The reservation was made for just a day, but Nick never formally checked out.

When the staff came into his room later Sunday morning, they found the shower “full of blood” and blood on the bed.
