The widow of late comedy star John Witherspoon is putting the family estate on the market nearly 6 years after his death … a 25,000-square-foot, two-property compound filled with historic memories — for just $4.6 million!!!
Angela Witherspoon tells TMZ … “We’ve made so many memories here over the years. We raised our two sons in this home. Our youngest attended The Buckley School and our oldest graduated from the Magnet at Grant High School. We’ve held countless gatherings, from Christmas parties to my husband John’s celebration of life, which was attended by friends like David Letterman, Chris Tucker, and DJ’d by Shawn Wayans.”
The estate encompasses 2 addresses, and is nestled in the L.A. suburb of Sherman Oaks, totaling 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, with driving accessibility to Malibu Canyon and DTLA.
The estate is secluded for privacy yet accessible to guests, with the flair of a European countryside.

Ice Cube was among the speakers at John’s celebration of life ceremony … other home highlights include hosting Kamala Harris‘ successful vice-presidential fundraiser “Cookout for Kamala” in 2020, and it was the site of family friend Madison McFerrin‘s wedding.
Angela recently opened up the home as a filming location for the upcoming movie, “Villa Hollywood,” in which she costars alongside Maria Russell, Rhonda Shear and Aniya Wayans … in what will be the onscreen debut of the latest star from the famous Wayans family.
Angela says she’s looking for a smaller footprint in L.A., which will open her up to spend more time traveling and seeing the world.

The last time we spoke to John, he was excited about Eddie Murphy‘s return to comedy … a comeback that spawned sequels to two of his iconic films, “Coming 2 America” and “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.”
The estate is listed by agents Lucas Arias and Isaiah Arias, for the A&A Team at Compass.
Anthony Geary, who famously played Luke Spencer on “General Hospital,” is dead … TMZ has confirmed.
The soap opera star died Sunday in Amsterdam … according to a family member.
Anthony’s official cause of death is unclear, but there are reports he died as a result of complications from a planned surgery in Amsterdam.
Anthony won eight Daytime Emmy Awards and is mostly known for his role on “General Hospital” … though he also made appearances on “The Partridge Family,” “The Mod Squad,” “All in the Family” and “The Young and the Restless.”
On “General Hospital,” Anthony and Genie Francis became the signature couple among soap operas … and when their characters got married in 1981, a whopping 30 million people tuned in for the TV nuptials, with Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor — a huge ‘GH’ fan — making a cameo.
Anthony was born in Utah and raised by Mormon parents. He earned a theater scholarship to the University of Utah and got his career started as a stage actor before moving to Los Angeles in the 1970s and getting into Hollywood.
Anthony was 78.

Bill Belichick continues to be the base to Jordon Hudson‘s flyer … as the 73-year-old was spotted cheering on his 24-year-old girlfriend at a competition in Atlanta over the weekend.
TMZ Sports obtained photos of the couple looking happier than ever on Sunday. Belichick — rocking a buttoned shirt and a Navy submarine hat — was seen alongside Jordon, who was all dolled up in her cheerleading uniform.
Hudson once again suited up for Code Black … who she competed for last month at a Cheer Extreme All-Stars event in Raleigh.
Seemingly, Belichick is paying his dues after Hudson was right by his side during his first year as the University of North Carolina head football coach. As you know … it was a tough go for the eight-time Super Bowl Champion — who went 4-8 and missed out on getting a bowl game.
She shared a carousel of photos in a recap after the team played their last home game — a 32-25 loss to Duke — all while taking a swipe at her critics.
“I’ve loved supporting @billbelichick at his adult all-male football league competitions this season,” Hudson wrote. “Until next year, Kenan!”

BB’s first season was also marked with tons of drama off the field. Hudson has found herself in a feud with investigative journalist Pablo Torre … even claiming she planned to sue him — which came after he spent the last few months diving into the couple’s romance.
But for now, the two have the offseason to reset and recharge before the next college football campaign, and it seems like Belichick will have to carve out some time to catch a few more cheerleading events!
