4:58 PM PST — Linda Hogan reached out to TMZ to clarify her earlier comments … she now tells us her ex-husband Hulk Hogan wouldn’t have been a supporter of California Gov. Gavin Newsom … ’cause the fam never went along with liberal policies. As far as she’s concerned … no one likes Gavin! So, the meme was lame — and only worked to confuse some fans.
Gov. Gavin Newsom is trying to beat Trump at his own game as far as ridiculous A.I. memes go … but his latest post featuring Hulk Hogan was just too painfully stupid, the WWE legend’s ex-wife tells TMZ.
Here’s the deal … on Sunday morning, Newsom threw X into chaos with an A.I.-generated image featuring Kid Rock, Tucker Carlson, and Hulk — sprouting angel wings and a halo — blessing him under the caption “so nice.” Obviously, the meme was meant to rile up Trump and his supporters, since they’ve shared similar memes in the past in sincere support of the president.
Linda Hogan tells TMZ … For anyone confused about the troll game Newsom is playing with his Trump-esque posts, Hulk couldn’t stand Newsom, and was as far from liberal as you can get.

Making it clear to us she’s just speaking for herself, no one else in the fam … Linda says “it would be a cold day in hell” for Hulk to be in Newsom’s corner — for anything.
At first, Linda tells us she was confused as to what Newsom was up to … but once she got the troll … she thought the post was pretty lame, even if it was meant to be an ironic knock on DT’s supporters.
Obviously, the WWE legend was a huge fan of Trump … and even gave a rallying speech at the RNC last year in support of DT’s reelection bid.
Don’t get it twisted … Linda’s not upset. She understands the taunt is meant to get under people’s skin. She just thinks it’s dumb — and wants to clear the air for any fans who are confused.

A$AP Mob co-founder A$AP Bari was involved in an all-out, no-holds-barred, royal rumble last night … and authorities are still trying to find out what caused the clash!!!
A rep for the Miami Beach PD tells TMZ Hip Hop … cops received a call from security guards for a “large fight” at Hotel Faena just after midnight Sunday … judging from the footage, the call was correct.

The fight appeared to contain about a dozen men — and one of them got Bari good as the video unfolded by grabbing him by the collarbone and throwing him in the bushes!!!
The calamity then spills off into the streets as Bari then gets up woozy, with his pants falling below his waistline … but one of his friends jumps out and defends him with long-reach punches at the opposition.
Our Miami Beach PD source tells us that by the time officers arrived on the scene, the two fight clubs had already dispersed and left the location.
Security did not want to press charges, and there weren’t any victims on hand to file a report … everyone lives to brawl another day!!!
‘Mr. Electricity’ Steve Regal

Sad news in the wrestling world … Steve Regal — better known as “Mr. Electricity” — passed away in July. He was 73.
The news broke on Monday and was confirmed by the National Wrestling Alliance … which expressed its sadness over the death of its former champion.
“Defeating Denny Brown for the title, this flashy and charismatic grappler reigned atop pro wrestling’s junior heavyweight in 1986, paving a path for generations to come,” NWA said.
“The NWA extends its most sincere thoughts to Regal’s family, friends, and fans during this time.”
Regal began his wrestling career in 1977 and rose to success in the American Wrestling Association (AWA). He had several notable matches, including his victory over Buck Zumhofe and The Road Warriors in a tag team battle in the ’80s.
The 6’0″ athlete signed with Jim Crockett Promotions and made his debut in May 1986. He had several big matches, including his draws and win against Denny Brown.
He made his WWF debut in 1986, teaming up with Terry Gibbs to fight Junkyard Dog and George Steele. His final WWF fight was at the WWF Wrestling Challenge — where he fell to Tito Santana and Pedro Morales.
During his career, Regal earned multiple titles, including the AWA World Light Heavyweight Championship, the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship twice, the PWA Light Heavyweight Championship, and more.
He retired in 1996.

W. Kamau Bell is ripping the Kennedy Center Honors … he says the only folks taking home hardware are celebs who are cool with President Trump … which is a problem for him, because he says Trump is a fascist.
The comedian and TV host joined us on “TMZ Live” Monday and took shots at the honorees from Sunday’s 48th Kennedy Center Honors.
Trump hosted and helped pick the honorees … including Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, George Strait, and KISS.
Bell was disappointed to see Sly accept an award … he says the ‘Rocky’ franchise films were “considered Black movies for years.”
While Bell says everyone who made the cut was talented, he says the main criterion was being down with Trump. We pushed back and said the same held true when Barack Obama was president … but Bell says the main difference is that Trump is a “dictator.”
Bell — who also got in jabs at Gloria and KISS — tells us he wouldn’t accept a Kennedy Center Honor during Trump’s presidency … he says there would be no way to accept the award without getting political.
