Outkast’s Antwan “Big Boi” Patton lost a family member to senseless gun violence last month in Georgia — and police have now made two arrests in the murder case.
Jabyrion Crumbley turned himself in to the authorities Wednesday after he fatally shot Big Boi’s uncle, Remoin Patton, during a June 16 road rage incident in Atlanta, according to police.
Crumbley was booked into the Fulton County Jail for murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He’s being held without bail.
Four days after the shooting, Janisha Crumbley was also arrested for hindering the apprehension of a felon but later released from jail. It’s unclear what the Crumbleys’ relationship is.
Big Boi — who co-founded OutKast with André 3000 — issued a statement about Patton — affectionately known as Uncle Moonie.
He told WSB-TV Channel 2 … “Everybody who knows Uncle Moonie heart aches. He wasn’t just ‘My’ Uncle, he was Unk to all that met him. A moment of rage has in totally pierced the heart of my family forever. May Uncle Moonie’s soul rest in peace.”

Big Boi also posted a video tribute to Uncle Moonie on Instagram with a captioin that read, “Long Live Uncle Moonie ….Miss ya UNC 💔 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
According to the Atlanta PD, cops responded to a shooting on the afternoon of June 16, finding Uncle Moonie dead at the scene with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his back.
Police say Uncle Moonie was trying to make a turn when he got into a heated argument with another driver, who pulled a gun and opened fire at him.
After he was struck by the bullet, Uncle Moonie plowed his car into a vacant home, cops say.
Uncle Moonie was 62.

12 Dead in Bondi Beach Hanukkah Shooting

Australia’s Bondi Beach turned into a nightmare Sunday evening when gunmen opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration … killing at least 12 people, including one of the gunmen, and injuring 29 more in what leaders are calling a cowardly and targeted attack on the Jewish community.
The chaos erupted as hundreds gathered for Chanukah by the Sea, a family-friendly celebration of the first night of the holiday. Instead, beachgoers were sent screaming and sprinting for their lives as gunshots echoed over the sand.
According to officials, the attackers positioned themselves on a pedestrian bridge overlooking Bondi Park before unleashing a hail of bullets onto the crowd gathered near the playground.
“This cowardly act of terrifying violence … represents some of our worst fears about terrorism in Sydney,” New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said, calling the massacre a deliberate strike on Sydney’s Jewish community.
One gunman was killed at the scene, while the second was taken into custody in critical condition. Police reportedly revealed one suspect had been on a watchlist, though not considered an immediate threat.
Authorities also discovered multiple improvised explosive devices scattered around the crime scene and inside the suspects’ vehicle.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese slammed the attack as a “vile,” antisemitic act of terrorism and “a dark moment for the nation.”

Person Of Interest Rounded Up By Police

A person of interest was taken into custody Sunday morning in connection with Saturday’s mass shooting at Brown University that left 2 students dead and many others injured, according to police.
Cops have not released the man’s name or details about the arrest … but CNN says one of its news crews witnessed heavy police activity connected to the shooting at a hotel in Providence, RI.
The big break in the case came after police released video of the alleged gunman fleeing the crime scene after going on a shooting rampage inside Barus & Holley Engineering building while students were studying for finals Saturday afternoon.
In the video, the alleged shooter, wearing all black, moves swiftly down the street after the attack. He then makes a sharp right onto Hope Street and zips up the block. At no point do we see his face in the clip.
Providence Mayor Brett Smiley held 2 press conferences Saturday, announcing that 2 students were dead and 8 other students were hospitalized in critical, but stable, condition. A ninth person was also wounded by gunfire and taken to the hospital.
A shelter-in-place order was issued to everyone on the Brown University campus Sunday night as police combed the area for the perpetrator. Officials have now lifted the shelter-in-place order.
President Donald Trump was briefed on the shooting, saying the FBI was on scene in Providence. Trump also sent his condolences to the victims and their families.
