Daniel Penny — the man who was found not guilty of choking Jordan Neely to death back in December — made his New York City runway debut Saturday night.

The ex Marine strutted down the runway in a kilt — reportedly to Bonnie Tyler‘s “Holding Out for a Hero” — for a charity event titled “Dressed to Kilt” held on the Upper East Side.

Notably, co-founder Geoffrey Scott Carroll introduced him as a “hero,” applauding him for protecting women, children, and elderly people on the NYC subway in May 2023 when Neely allegedly began threatening them with a knife.

Here’s a refresher … Penny put Neely in a chokehold when he began acting “erratically” on the NYC subway. 30-year-old Neely — who authorities say didn’t have a weapon — died during the altercation, with the medical examiner ruling his death as a result of “compression of neck.”

Penny was charged with second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide, but was ultimately let off the hook for the lesser charge after the manslaughter charge was dropped.

Penny was described as a “proud New Yorker” at the fashion show … but also has roots in Scotland from the 12th century, according to Carroll.

It makes perfect sense he’d want to be involved — “Dressed to Kilt” is the largest Scottish fashion show in the world and supports Veteran’s causes, such as the Navy Seal Foundation.

Jay North — a veteran actor who played the eponymous character in the 1960s sitcom “Dennis the Menace” — has died … TMZ has confirmed.

Laurie Jacobson — a longtime friend of North and wife to “Lassie” actor Jon Provost — tells TMZ … Jay passed away Sunday at his home in Lake Butler, Florida after a battle with colorectal cancer.

We’re told his health started to deteriorate over the past month, and he was surrounded by family — his wife Cindy and her daughters from a previous marriage, which we’re told he “adored” — when he passed.

By the late 1980s, North left acting behind … making limited cameos as himself in the years since on an episode of “The Simpsons” and in the David Spade movie “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.”

In more recent years, North worked as a correctional officer in Florida … reportedly helping troubled youth in the juvenile system. He also helped counsel former child stars via the group A Minor Consideration through the 1990s.

Despite his distaste for Hollywood, Jacobson says Jay did appreciate one perk he got from the industry — lifelong friends who were also child stars around the same time including Angela Cartwright, Jerry Mathers, Stan Livingston, Paul Petersen and Brandon Cruz, among others.

Jay was 73.

Michelle Williams ain’t going to “Cater 2 U” if you’re taking your shoes off on an airplane … taking to social media to call out her seatmate who went barefoot on a flight.

The singer-songwriter hopped on Instagram to express her displeasure with the person sitting next to her … sharing a snap of their toes — totally uncovered and poking out from behind the seat barrier.

Michelle wrote, “I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!! Y’all this is happening neowwwwwwww on my flight and I am crying real tears!!”

MW jokes she accidentally elbowed the foot — so, she’s gotta take her jacket to the cleaners … before lamenting how people in first class feel they can just do whatever they want on planes.

Williams has been busy on Broadway recently … starring in “Death Becomes Her” — the musical based on the 1992 film starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn.

She starred in the original cast in Chicago last year … playing Viola Van Horn — an original character name based on Lisle von Rhuman, who is played by Isabella Rossellini in the OG flick.
