LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith can end their feud once and for all with their FISTS … ’cause TMZ Sports has learned a popular boxing promotion is drafting an offer to make a fight happen!!
King James and the ESPN talent have exchanged verbal blows ever since their infamous confrontation at the Lakers game earlier this month … and on Wednesday, the argument turned to hypothetical violence — with SAS claiming if LeBron put his hands on him, he would’ve retaliated with a punch.

After LeBron trolled the hell outta Smith by posting his old training vids, Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman immediately got to work … and started making calls to rich investors in hopes of putting together the funds needed to lock down a matchup of this caliber.
AKA — he hit up his contacts in Saudi Arabia.

Of course, neither James nor Smith needs the money … as the two are among the highest-earning figures in their respective fields.
But don’t scoff at the idea just yet — it’s clear they can’t stand each other at this point
There is one big problem, though … as Smith admitted he’d get his ass kicked by James in a bout — so chances are he’s too proud to let the internet witness that and let it live on social media forever.
It’s fun to think about regardless — even if it never happens.

Confined to Bed for Years Before Death
… Very Frail at the End

Val Kilmer‘s health had seriously deteriorated near the end of his life … leaving him unable to get out of bed for years before his death, TMZ has learned.
Family sources tell TMZ … Val had a lack of energy related to his cancer treatment — and, as a result, he was bed-bound for a long time.

While he was cancer-free, we’re told his body simply couldn’t keep fighting at the end … and, his body eventually shut down.
According to our sources, Val was very frail near the end of his life … and, his death wasn’t sudden. His health seriously declined in the past week, and his friends and family came to Val’s side at the hospital in the days before his death. He had been previously hospitalized earlier this year.
We are also told that a video of Kilmer donning a Batman mask he posted to Instagram in February was taken years ago… so, his appearance in it isn’t accurate to how he looked in the last months of his life.
Kilmer hadn’t appeared in public for years before his death … last attending the Thespians Go Hollywood Gala back in 2019 with his daughter, Mercedes.
Val has two children … and, we’re told they’re working on his funeral arrangements. As you know, Mercedes confirmed her dad’s passing to the New York Times yesterday … revealing he died after a battle with pneumonia.
Kilmer was hospitalized with throat cancer back in 2015 … and, while he eventually went into remission, his voice was irreparably harmed by the disease.
Numerous celebs including Cher, Francis Ford Coppola and Jennifer Tilly have paid tribute to Kilmer in the hours after his death.
Val was 65.

Dead at 86 …
‘Poetry in Motion,’ ‘Without You’ Singer

Johnny Tillotson — a well-known pop singer with multiple top 10 hits over the years — has died … TMZ has confirmed.
The songwriter’s wife, Nancy, announced the news on her Facebook page Wednesday morning … revealing the veteran musician passed away yesterday. Nancy highlighted Tillotson’s many achievements through the years, and thanked his fans for always supporting her husband.
We spoke with Nancy, who tells TMZ … Johnny died due to complications from Parkinson’s, at his home in L.A., surrounded by family.
Tillotson rose to fame in 1960 … releasing “Poetry in Motion” — his best-known song — which peaked at No. 2 on the charts in the U.S. He followed it up with “Without You” the next year, which hit No. 7.
Among his other well-known songs … “Talk Back Trembling Lips,” “You Can Never Stop Me Loving You,” and “It Keeps Right On a-Hurtin'” — which Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Elvis Presley all covered.
Johnny was a two-time Grammy nominee … receiving a nomination at the 5th and 8th Grammy Awards way back in the ’60s.
Tillotson last released an album — titled “Johnny Tillotson” — back in 1977.
He is survived by Nancy, his stepdaughter Genevieve, his brother Dan, and his grandchildren, Nia, Jackson, Georgia and Gwyneth, as well as various nieces and nephews. He was 86.

Bidding To Buy TikTok?!?

Jeff Bezos sounds like he’s throwing some Amazon money around … because his company is reportedly trying to acquire TikTok.
Amazon submitted a bid to buy TikTok as the popular video app nears the Saturday deadline to separate from Chinese ownership or face a ban in the United States … according to a report Wednesday in the New York Times.
The report says the Amazon bid came in at the last minute … and the NYT also notes the Amazon offer is not being taken seriously.

President Trump in January set an April 5 deadline for TikTok’s Chinese parent company ByteDance to sell the social media app to a non-Chinese buyer or be banned in the U.S. over national security concerns.
Trump told reporters Sunday there are lots of potential buyers showing tremendous interest and hinted a deal would be made before the deadline.
